1. USC

Strengths: VERY deep and loaded on all sides of the ball.

Weaknesses: Losing Dwayne Jarrett and Steve Smith means new WR's have to step up (which they will)

2. Michigan

Strengths: The Big Three are all back (Henne, Hart, Manningham) great OL

Weaknesses: Lost a lot of guys on defense to the NFL so it will inexpirenced

3. LSU

Strengths: Might have the Nations best defense

Weaknesses: QB Matt Flynn has been a backup for several years and has big shoes to fill replacing Jamarcus Russell

4. West Virginia

Strengths: 2 Deadly Heisman Contenders Pat White and Steve Slaton

Weaknesses The defense gives up a lot of points

5. Louisville

Strengths: My Heisman Winner (QB Brian Brohm) Great WRs and RBs

Weaknesses: Lost sev key defensive players, defense is unproven and a New Head Coach they have

6. Florida

Strengths: Tebow is finally full time starter, lots of great young talent, great recruiting class

Weaknesses: lost a lot of defensive guys to the NFL like Michigan

7. UCLA

Strengths: Great momentum heading into season, return many key players

Weaknesses: QB battle has emerged between veteran starter Ben Olsen and Pat Cowan

8. Wisconsin

Strengths: Return many key players back

Weaknesses: lost Joe Thomas at OL, havent named a starting QB yet

9. Virginia Tech

Strengths: Great LB and CB crew, Brandon Ore is the best RB that the nation dont know about, the casual fans will be rooting for them

Weaknesses: Might be out of the title picture early with a Giant road game at LSU

10. Texas

Strengths: Limas Sweed the best WR in the country in my opinion, McCoy should be better

Weaknesses: With all the talent the secondary they were 99th in Pass Def now that their 3 best pass defenders are gone to the NFL the Pass Def might be one of the worst in the country

11. Oklahoma

Strengths: Great defense, Allen Patrick did well in AP's absence last year, have a great RB coming in as well thats compared to Reggie Bush

Weaknesses: No expirence at QB

12. Auburn

Strengths: Great Defense, Cox is a veteran QB

Weaknesses: Lost Irons at RB

13. Rutgers

Strengths: Many players return including Ray Rice, great recruiting class

Weaknesses: Lost leader Brian Leonard

14. Ohio State

Strengths: Lots of key guys on defense are back, RB Chris Wells might be better than Pittman

Weaknesses: lots of youth and inexpirence on the offensive side of the ball

15. Arkansas

Strengths: RUN-DMC is the best RB in the country, great offense.

Weaknesses: many top players from last season either went to the NFL or trnasferred
