Wrestling history would look a lot different if not for Verne Gagne. He had a major impact on the last days of the territories and had a hand in developing some of the biggest stars of the industry. If he'd been a better businessman he might have been a legend on the same level as Vince McMahon. It would have been amazing to have AWA alive and well during the Monday Night Wars.
