There's a lot less strategy to it, really. You have a set of five cards. You pick one based on what the match's attribute is. Highest one wins. Repeat. Best two out of three.

That said, it's pretty quick and fun, and there's just enough to figuring out what makes a solid five card team and trying to guesstimate/game what you want to use when.

If you're looking for a full-on CCG experience, you're going to be disappointed. If you're looking for a mobile card game sort of experience, this is really great to the extent that you don't have to deal with energy per play bullshit and you can feel gradual improvement as you keep playing without having to spend a bunch of money.

From that description, it sounds really simple and dumb--and it probably is, but it's strangely addictive.
