YoY can be a useful tool. But the people who used the numbers that were up against NXT to allege “growth” were kidding themselves. Well, they probably weren’t trying to lie to themselves as much as other people.

Suddenly it stops mattering to them when it highlights this shit isn’t more popular than it was at the start. Just like demos disappear when they aren’t doing as well as fanboys would like. Some are even trying to get rid of ratings talk altogether — not in the Destor kind of way, but in a “this doesn’t look good for us so let’s pretend we don’t care” way.
