Yeah. I enjoyed the games for the same reason.
Now, rather than waiting around a corner for that securty guard to pass, players just hit a button, see he's 5 minutes away and run into the unguarded room knowing they have plenty of time to do the job and leave.
Having Dead Eye means there is no risk either. You just activate it, aim and fire. No way to possibley screw up and have to retreat and form a "Plan B".
