Ultimate Fighter Season 9 - USA vs UK announced

During the broadcast of last nights Fight Night 15 event in Omaha Nebraska, the details of the ninth season of the “Ultimate Fighter” reality series were released, and a huge surprise was in store.

The season, which is due to air early next year, will pit welterweights and middleweights against each other as teams of US and UK fighters battle it out to decide who will be the next breakthrough star.

Early reports suggest that UK middleweight Michael Bisping could be lined up to coach the UK team against a top American middleweight, with the winner gaining a title shot at the end of 2009.
