I think this is a good move by WWE for a few reasons, the least of which is I like her. When they do tapings and shows in Mexico/Spain/any other place that speaks Spanish the non-Spanish fans will hear a familiar voice announcing, and the Spanish fans will know what she's saying.

For SmackDown, SmackDown brand house shows, PPVs, and supershows the WWE has a great voice to sing the National Anthem. This might seem trivial, but it's a good way to warm up the fans.

She's also a voice that many people know and remember. For casual fans who fell out of the loop they might hear her voice and watch. Kinda like hearing a jingle on TV you haven't heard in a while so you tune in to see.
