Besides getting injured, never really understood why Indy let Sorgi go because he was essentially the "Cassel" or "Rodgers" (before Farve left) of the team so if Peyton went down or was benched for rest, the whole play system didn't change because he had years of experience/knowledge.
Main reason the Giants went after him was them thinking he could help Eli with some of the knowledge he learned from Peyton until he got hurt again and dropped.
