It's a step in the right direction at least. There needed to be some kind of change, and after no one went at the trade deadline, was pretty clear Ronnie wasn't long for this world.
I suspect what will happen is Carlyle will turn them around enough to make the traditional late season run, therefore just missing the playoffs. A minor trade and free agent signing or two in the summer and then more of the same next year.
Prove me wrong, Toronto.
