Router/Network problem

If I connect my laptop direct to the router via ethernet, it works fine, but I can't connect wirelessly. My home network shows up in the "available networks" list but has no signal strength and wont connect.

I've tried resetting my modem and unplugging the router, but nothing.

Any suggestions? I did a quick search on google and I found something about changing the channel on my router? I dunno
