Thinking about it now and as much as I love the guy, I can see why Henry would need to go.
It's just a shame they didn't do more with him and Cena. His fake retirement speech and attack on Cena was fantastic, but all it really lead to was your average run-of-the-mill filler feud for Cena. He only got one match for the WWE Championship and that was it, whereas smaller, less imposing guys get about half a year of chasing and defending the gold before the feud ends.
The Cena/Henry thing just suddenly ended the night after the WWE Championship match when The Shield attacked Henry, for whatever reason.
Having Mark Henry as WWE Champion, even if it was for a month, or even a day, would have been pretty cool.
