I don't think this Cindy person counts since she's a minor character.

What's funny is that Maggie Grace was in talks to play Shadowcat in X-men 3 and she was warned that if she took the role, she would be killed off in Lost. Well, she decided not to take the role (can't blame her. A main character on the third highest rated TV show > a minor role in a popular movie chain) and yet she was killed off very early in the season and barely had any screen time in the past 5 or so episodes of the second season anyways.
