49ers have the #1 overall defense but they are 21st vs the pass, 250 yards a game and 14 TDs. Ravens are 7th vs the pass 211 yards a game (and the fewest passing TDs allowed: 7, only other team in single digits are the Jets with 8)

Where it gets rough for the Ravens is that SF by far has the best Rush Defense..74 yards a game and no rush TDs allowed. But the good news is that ray Rice can be utilized in the passing game just as effectively to keep him in the game so I could still see him getting 100 total yards..


Its pretty much going to come down to turnovers since thats where SF makes their money, as they have a +17 turnover ratio (26 takeaways to 9 giveaways). The Ravens are going to need to get some and not make any.
the games the Ravens have lost were all ones where they had several costly turnovers (Ray Rice had 3 in the Jax game, David Reed had 2 fumbles in the Seattle Game)..
