- This is Bungie's last Halo before the franchise is given to Microsoft's awaiting Halo adopters, 343 Industries. It seems Bungie's fully aware that this will be the last great Halo game before it's raped to the ground so they're going all out.
- The major draw distance I noticed from the first trailer is referenced; Bungie says there are no painted back drops, you see it you can probably go there (this will, however, not be a sandbox game ala GTA).
- The DRM rifle replaces the Battle Rifle as the 'workhorse' weapon. It works like the old Covenant Carbine (which kinda shows which Bungie preferred in the old debate). For newbies the DRM is essentially a FAL whereas the retired Battle Rifle was an M16. No word yet on whether the humans will have a new burst-fire weapon.
- Pistol will zoom, but I'm guessing it will be nerfed below the godly H1 and ODST pistols.
- Health packs are back as well.
- Rumors going around that duel wielding has been nixed.
