Was getting pretty frustrated yesterday. Here we are with a fairly good red zone quarterback and we're running Gore on the goal line 100 times despite it not working the entire game. I understand that the Brown's passing defense is much better than their run defense but you'd think after the Browns defense makes a huge stand at the goal line that you'd lay the fuck off the run in the red zone for awhile. At the end of the second half, they decide to give Alex a passing play in the red zone after two failed run attempts then bam, TD.
It was pretty odd though. The Browns couldn't stop the run at any other time in the game, just in the red zone. Gore pretty much made his way up the entire field twice in the first half just because he could.
