Barrett/Gabriel/Slater/Harris then ambush The Shield during one of their promos. Wade cuts a promo that The Shield has been impressive, but now they've earned the ire of the original impact makers. Heath Slater would sort of be the odd man out, but he scores a "shocker" win over Roman Reigns after some chaos and 3MB shenanigans. They then "take out" Slater in the back. You do the 6-man tag at Extreme Rules. Then, the next PPV has 2 matches -- Barrett vs Ambrose, Rollins/Reigns vs Gabriel/Harris. I don't know how you'd end it or go from there. Dunno what the ideal "end game" would be. Maybe you tease that Ryback was in Nexus and still isn't done with The Shield. Either way, this deal is used to cement Barrett back as a main eventer and push Ambrose to upper midcard.
You did a really good job there. The only thing I would change is perhaps leaving Bray Wyatt out of it, because his shtick is really good as is. Maybe Wade Barrett, Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel would make a good three-man Nexus on their own?
