After RE5, any Capcom game that says there's no co-op fills me with joy.
There probably is no reason why they couldn't make pawn and actual co-op work, but is the amount of time and resources to do that worth it on a new IP? If they could only do one, I'm glad they took this route as these type of games are the ones I prefer to play on my own and the indirect pawn system that you can rent out is the icing on a delicious sounding cake.
Hopefully they don't bugger this one up with Dead Rising style spin-offs 6 months later or give us a short game bulked by DLC.
