The Rooney Rule is pretty stupid tbh. There was a time where it might have made some sense when whites dominated the coaching positions, but now that there are a pretty large amount of black coaches (head coaches, coordinators, and assistants) I'm not sure it's really needed. Everybody points to the Steelers with Mike Tomlin even though the Rooneys have gone on record of saying they were always going to interview Tomlin...he was not a "token" interview.

Almost wonder if Perry Fewell is gonna get a million interviews this offseason just like last year solely because teams have to meet the requirements.
It was always a stupid rule. If there are 0 black head coaches in the league or 32, it's a stupid rule.
