Harley Quinn would have been a great character to bring in, but without Joker I don't really think she really has a role.
She would have been perfect to spring Joker from the joint, and stay around as his right hand woman. I would have liked to see the Nolan-version of her. She'd probably have been the Nancy to Joker's Sid.
