Funeral will be for Ben or Jacob. Purely basing this on when Jack was asked if he was a friend or family of the person in the coffin and he said "neither".
Think the line about bringing his dad back to see if Jack if more drunk than he is was just a line to confuse people into thinking he might still be alive. Jack was probably just saying it because he knows they can't bring back someone from the dead.
