Hugo and Zangief are actually top tier in this game. And not in a "pros only" sort of way. I've been much more successful with them here, than I was in previous games.

Especially Hugo. He's got a few really damaging combos that I've not seen you use. Maybe check out some youtube videos. Might even find some for zangief.
