Hard to say what constitutes a "last run" and a short-time appearance. Mick Foley in 2006 when he fueded/teamed with Edge was pretty damn good. Not sure if that counts though. Obviously Michaels, from 2002-2010, considering that we never thought we'd get more than a one-off match from him at Summerslam 2002, he ended up living out the best half of his career.

Huge props to Sting though, the guy is an absolute legend, and still delivers great performances. He "knows his role" and is absolutely showing why he's one of the greats.
