Doubt its actually them following Smackdown with weekly live shows since the costs would skyrocket for them. Wouldn't be getting any extra money from USA Network like they get for Smackdown Live.
I think the difference would be you get to watch NXT as its shown "live" on the Network, or as part of the on-demand service maybe 2 days later. But then I guess they'd need two live streams
