MAIN EVENT:



The crowd wakes up again, and realize that it’s finally time for the main event!



For that special “Big Match” feel (and by gum, this one better be a big match), announcer Michael Buffer gets on the mic.



Buffer: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come. Tonight, you have witnessed the titans stride the Earth. We have watched forces of good vanquish evil, and have seen treacherous foes slip away unscathed. We have come through twists and through turns, through heartbreak and heroism, through grand battles and gruesome bloodbaths, until finally, we arrive at the climax, the conclusion. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to…the MAIN EVENT!

*Huge Pop*

Tonight, two men will do battle like never before. They will push themselves to and beyond their limits, for a prize coveted by all of Caption-Entertainment. They vie for a chance to join the illustrious ranks of legends, and only one thing stands in their way…each other! Tonight, Champion versus Challenger…two men…sixty minutes…One Chance to Live Forever…

Buffer: The following Contest is scheduled for Iron Man rules, and is for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! The captioner who manages to score the most falls - be it by pin, submission, disqualification, or count-out - within the sixty-minute time limit will be declared the TNA World Champion.

However, should the score be tied when the time limit expires, the winner will be determined…by judges’ decision.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce to you tonight’s panel of judges!

First is one of the true unsung heroes of C-Fedding, the man who first brought the MadMan and A.C Slater to the world. He is…Rob E. Dangerous!

*Big pop for Rob E., because dammit, we missed him*



Our second judge is an absolute legend in the world of Caption-Entertainment, a man whose reputation is truly…timeless. Ladies and gentlemen, the undisputed Time-Traveling Champion, Bret “The HateMan” Hart!

*Major pop for the HateMan*



Third on the panel is a man who’s had little to do with C-Fedding, but has had close ties with many within the illustrious ranks of TNA and NCW. He’s a real magic man, you might say, because he’s none other than the Head Honcho of Hogwart’s…Dumbeldore!!!

*Mixed reaction for Big D, most noticeably boos from the portion of the crowd that was magically enslaved by Lord Voldermort between matches*



The fourth judge is no stranger to either contestant…after all, he used to book for them! Ladies and gentlemen, the Fabulous Dusty Desmarais!

And finally…the greatest legend to ever set foot in the TNA ring, the man after which TNA originally was named. There are stars…there are superstars…there are living legends…and then….there’s…

THE NAITCH!!!

*Unbelievable pop for the Naitch as he struts down the aisle*



Buffer: Now, introducing the Challenger…

He has battled so many times against impossible odds, fought alongside and against the immortals of the business, and now he hopes to join their ranks. Ladies and gentlemen, the #1 Contender…AZRIEL!!!



Azriel gets a massive pop as “Of Wolf and Man” blares. He does not motion to the fans, or waste time posing: he is 100% focused on this match.

J.R.: Azriel is ready for anything Innovator can throw at him; you can see it in his eyes!

King: He’d better be, or else this is going to be a L-O-N-G hour for the challenger!

He has defied the odds time and time again, defeating those who lay claim to his Title, and those who challenge his worthiness of it. Tonight, he hopes to prove once and for all that he is the very best in Caption Entertainment. Ladies and gentlemen, the TNA Heavyweight Champion of the World…INNOVATOR!

The crowd erupts again as Innovator holds up his Title for all (particularly Azriel) to see.



J.R.: Innovator’s got one hell of a fight on his hands, but there is no way he’s going to just roll over; not for Azriel, not for anybody!

King: Even so, the Champ might be able to hang with the challenger for a while, but will either of them be able to keep up the whole sixty minutes?

SPECIAL MATCH TRIVIA:

-Azriel retained his #1 Contender spot by winning a Hell in a Cell match against the Dub. Ironic, because the last time these two met one-on-one for a title, Innovator defeated Azriel for the X-Treme Title in an HIAC match.

As one last gesture of respect, the two meet in the center of the ring, and shake hands.



Azriel: No more waiting…I made you tap at the Frenzy. You lucked out that time; this time, it’s just you and me.

Innovator: I wouldn’t have it any other way. Let the games begin.

*DING DING DING!*

Innovator immediately goes on the attack, peppering Azriel with forearm shots to the face. Azriel staggers back to the ropes, and the Champ stays on him. Innovator shoots for an Irish Whip, but Azriel reverses it, sending Innovator into the ropes and cutting him off with a high knee!



With the Champion down, Azriel tries for a Sharpshooter to get the first fall, but Innovator shoves him off.



Azriel stumbles and has to go to one knee to catch himself. Innovator springs to his feet and uses the opening to put Azriel into a butterfly lock.



Azriel reaches low to power out of it, and takes Innovator over with a back body drop. The results…aren’t pretty.



Innovator lies still on the mat; the Champ could be seriously hurt before the match even really begins.



Azriel backs off to his corner, a look of concern on his face. Slowly, Innovator begins to stir, coughing up blood that smears across his face as he struggles to his feet, holding onto the ropes to keep him standing.



The referee tries to check on him, and the Champion manages to get out a slurred “You stop this match, I’ll fucking kill you,” then wipes away the blood and sinks into the corner.

Azriel, realizing the opportunity, charges towards Innovator in the corner. The champ sees it coming and rolls out of the way, and Azriel crashes headlong into the corner post!



The challenger clutches his shoulder, and it looks like both men may be hurt.



With the playing field leveled, Innovator is the first to his feet, more than ready for the challenger as he tries to get up.



As Azriel stands, the champion locks in a sleeper hold from behind!



Azriel struggles as Innovator wrenches the hold in tight. The Captioning Crippler hurls himself backwards, trying to make it to the rope, but Innovator uses the ropes to bounce back forward and take Azriel down with a bulldog!



Innovator covers!

….Azriel kicks out!

The champ tries to stay on the offensive, picking up his opponent and shooting him to the ropes, looking to take him back down with a knee clip, but Azriel catches Innovator’s knee and rolls him up into a schoolboy!

After trading near falls, both men are quick to their feet, neither one wanting to be caught off guard again. Innovator charges with a clothesline, but Azriel ducks it, and takes him over with a wicked release German suplex!



Azriel holds on, and rolls Innovator back to his feet and over into a second German…



…and a third!



Innovator, whose neck has already been hurt, goes limp as Azriel looks to put the icing on the cake. The crowd begins to buzz as the challenger climbs to the top rope, and then comes off with the Kamikaze Headbutt!



Azriel covers!

SCORE AT 46:13 = Azriel: 1, Innovator: 0

[Nowhere Man]

The crowd pops big as the challenger gets the first fall of the night. Looking to end this quickly, Azriel hooks the Champ’s legs and locks in a Sharpshooter!





J.R.: And it’s official; a new record!

King: What is?

JR: With the Sharpshooter being used in Invisible/MadMan, Nowhere Man/MVP, Cocky J/Icon, and now the main event, Forum Mania 3 is now officially the Sharp-shooting-est PPV of all time!

Innovator writhes in the painful hold, but refuses to tap out. Slowly, he begins crawling towards the ropes, while Azriel tries to hunker down and stop him.



After about a minute passes by, Innovator reaches the ropes to break the hold, and crawls out to the ring apron to try and recuperate. This turns out to be a short-lived refuge, as Azriel follows him through the ropes, and setting him up for a DDT on the apron!



The champ escapes, hopping down to the floor before Azriel can execute the move.



Instead, the challenger comes charging off the apron, looking to level Innovator with a flying lariat!



The crowd pops big as Azriel hits the move, then catapults Innovator face-first into the steel ring post!



Innovator comes stumbling back, his face a bloody mess, and Azriel grabs him and rolls him onto the announcer’s table.

The challenger hops back up onto the ring apron, stepping back into the ring for a moment to stop the referee’s count, then comes diving off the apron with a flying elbow!



Innovator rolls off, and Azriel ends up going through the table himself!



The Champ rolls back into the ring and tries to catch his breath while the referee begins to count out Azriel.

….Azriel pulls himself back into the ring and stops the count, only to eat a Superkick from Innovator that sends him tumbling back to the outside!



Innovator rolls out of the ring after Azriel, and whips the challenger into the steel steps!



The force of the impact knocks the steps loose, and the Champion lives up to his name with an innovative spot, using the ring steps as a launch pad to hit the woozy Azriel with another flying attack!



With his opponent disposed of for the moment, Innovator looks under the ring for a weapon that might even out the score. The crowd buzzes as the World Champion pulls out a ladder and tosses it into the ring.



The referee is mad as Innovator rolls back into the ring, telling him that using a weapon will cost him a disqualification. As he and the champ argue, Azriel gets a second wind and hits Innovator with a running Enzugiri!



Azriel tosses the ladder over to the corner, trying to get rid of it for now, then keeps the Champion dazed with forearm shots to the face. He tries for an Irish Whip, but Innovator reverses it, sending Azriel straight into the ladder!



Since it wasn’t intentional use of the ladder, the ref lets it go, as Azriel stumbles forward and winds up eating a LAST EXIT!



Innovator covers!

Score at 38:49 = Azriel: 1, Innovator: 1

Azriel is down long enough for Innovator to grab a chair out of the crowd and bring it into the ring.



As the referee protests, Innovator picks up his opponent, and gives him a second Last Exit onto the chair!



The referee calls for the bell, giving Azriel a DQ fall.



Score at 37: 16 = Azriel: 2, Innovator: 1

The Champion rolls Azriel over and covers for a pin.

Score at 37: 07 = Azriel: 2, Innovator: 2

Immediately after the ref rings the bell, Innovator goes for the pin again!

Innovator tries for a third pin!

….Azriel kicks out!

J.R.: Azriel finally managed to stop Innovator’s lead from growing any further, but now he’s facing an uphill battle!

King: Good strategy by the champion, though, letting one DQ go to gain the lead.

Azriel slowly struggles to his feet, and Innovator is there to meet him with the chair.



This time, the challenger is ready for it, and yanks the chair right out of the champion’s hands!

The crowd pops huge as an angry Azriel takes the chair and waffles Innovator with it!



The ref DQ’s Azriel, who doesn’t look happy about it.



Score at 35: 24 = Azriel: 2, Innovator: 4

Azriel hesitates before going for the pin.

….Innovator kicks out!

Frustrated, Azriel puts the boots to Innovator, who is beginning to get up.

Despite the pummeling, Innovator shoves off Azriel and gets to his feet, fighting the challenger with a flurry of kicks and punches before shooting to the ropes for a clothesline.

Azriel catches the arm and drops Innovator down into the CROSSFACE!



The clock winds down as Innovator squirms in the hold, refusing to tap as Azriel cinches it in harder. Once again, the hold is only broken when the champ reaches the ropes.

Azriel sets the ladder up in the middle of the ring and begins to climb it, looking to pummel Innovator with a high-risk move. Innovator sees it coming and starts climbing the ladder with him.

The two begin slugging it out at the top while the referee looks on.



Azriel gets the better of Innovator first, shoving him backwards and causing him to fall off. The crowd collectively winces as Innovator’s leg gets caught in the rungs of the ladder!



The World Champion quickly frees himself, and hobbles back up the ladder to face off against his challenger. This time, Innovator pulls Azriel over to his side of the ladder, slugging him up close with shots to the back and neck. Azriel stands on the very top of the ladder to try and pull himself away from Innovator’s barrage, but the champ sweeps his legs out from under him, causing him to fall backwards and hit his back on the top of the ladder!

Innovator quickly takes advantage of this, and applies a Boston Crab, stretching Azriel across the top of the ladder as the challenger screams in pain.



Azriel doesn’t remain in the hold for long, though, as he manages to free one foot and mule kick Innovator in the face, sending him tumbling off the ladder and down to the floor.



Azriel shakily perches himself on the top of the ladder, looking for the Kamikaze Headbutt from the heavens!



He leaps!



But Innovator rolls out of the way, and Azriel crashes down hard onto the mat!



The World Champion quickly rolls over for the cover.

Score at 21:19 = Azriel: 2, Innovator: 5

[Nowhere Man]

Innovator climbs the turnbuckle as Azriel slowly gets to his feet. By the time the challenger manages to shake off the cob-webs, Innovator clubs him across the back with a flying fist!



Azriel flops forward, but before he hits the mat, the Champ catches him from behind and locks him into a sleeper!



Innovator chokes out Azriel, who keeps struggling and struggling until he finally goes limp, and the referee checks him.

He lifts the arm…it falls.

He lifts the arm again…it falls.

He lifts it a third time…and Azriel rolls forward, escaping the hold and taking Innovator over into a victory roll!

Score at 19:42 = Azriel: 3, Innovator: 5

Azriel is first back to his feet, while Innovator begs off. Azriel closes in, but while the ref’s view is obstructed, Innovator gets in a low blow!



The challenger doubles over, and Innovator is quick to set him up for another Last Exit!



Azriel counters it, taking him over with a Northern Lights Suplex!



Azriel bridges!

Score at 18:57 = Azriel: 4, Innovator: 5

Innovator is getting nervous: it’s coming down to the wire, and Azriel is hot on his heels. The Champion decides to try and run out the clock, while Azriel becomes more aggressive.

The challenger comes after Innovator, firing off some knife-edge chops to the chest before whipping the champ towards the ropes. Innovator pulls Azriel along with him, and tangles him up in the ropes.



Azriel struggles to free is arm, finally pulling Innovator off of him by the turnbuckle, which the Champ quickly ascends.

Innovator grabs Azriel by the hair, and comes off the top, driving his knee into the back of Azriel’s skull!



Innovator covers!

….Azriel kicks out!

Frustrated, Innovator tries it again. This time, however, Azriel shakes the ropes, crotching Innovator on the top turnbuckle.

The Captioning Crippler hops up onto the second turnbuckle, and takes him over with a big suplerplex!



Azriel covers.

….Innovator kicks out!

Azriel hits the ropes as Innovator gets up and knocks him back down with a clothesline. Innovator gets to his feet again, and Azriel puts him right back down. A third time, and Innovator catches Azriel with a belly-to-belly suplex!



Innovator tries for a single leg ankle pick, but Azriel kips up and clocks the champ with an Enzugiri!



With the champ down, Azriel climbs the ropes again, looking to tie the score with a Kamikaze Headbutt. Innovator grabs the chair in the ring and places it on top of himself as Azriel comes flying off the top!



The impact is atrocious, as Azriel knocks himself silly on the chair, while Innovator gets squashed underneath. Since both men ended up getting hurt, the ref lets it go (this ref is very lenient). However, slowly, painfully, Azriel crawls over to Innovator and drapes the arm across.

Score at 7: 39 = Azriel: 5, Innovator: 5

The begins to wind down as both men slowly start to get up. Innovator clears his head long enough to slam Azriel back down to the mat.



The champ is clearly exhausted, as he doesn’t even try and stand, but just waits for Azriel to start getting back up again.



As Azriel stands rubber-legged, Innovator is there to meet him, setting him up for one more Last Exit…



But Azriel lifts Innovator off his feet and slams him back down to the mat.



Innovator stands back up, and reverses an Irish Whip from Azriel into the corner. Innovator gets up on the first turnbuckle and starts hammering away at Azriel’s forehead…



…but Azriel lifts him up again and drops him into a Powerbomb!

…Innovator barely gets the shoulder up!

Though he doesn’t get the pin, Azriel instead tries for a submission with another Sharpshooter.



Innovator fights it, but Azriel won’t be denied, and the World Champion is once again trapped in the excruciating hold!



Innovator tries to go for the ropes, but they’re in the middle of the ring. He tries to muscle out of the hold, but after so much punishment over so long, there’s just nothing left in the reserves. Innovator’s hand hovers over the mat…

…he’s fading…

…fading…

….and the bell rings!

TIME EXPIRED

[Nowhere Man]

Azriel releases the hold and goes to his corner, and Innovator staggers over to his before falling back down to the mat.



Howard Wrinkle gets on the mic to address the situation.



Howard: Ladies and gentlemen, at the end of the sixty-minute period, we have a tie at 5-5. Therefore, the outcome of this match will go to a judges’ decision!

First up, Rob E. Dangerous!



Rob: First off, I wanna say that that was the most amazing match I have ever seen. Both of you guys put out your heart and soul, and if both of you could be Champion, I’d give you that. But I personally think Innovator came in with a better game plan, and overall had a better strategy than Azriel. My vote goes to….INNOVATOR

Howard: And HateMan?



HateMan: This is no easy decision, because both of these guys were absolutely incredible out there. Overall, however, I’m going to go with a man I’ve been in the ring with a few times before, and I know he’s the best in the business. I vote for…AZRIEL

Howard: How about you, Dusty?



Dusty: Everyone else has said it, but I’m sayin it again: that was an unbelievable match, and Innovator and Azriel proved themselves to be the best tonight. But since I can only pick one, my vote has to go with the man who inflicted the most damage, and wasn’t afraid to bend the rules. I vote…INNOVATOR

Howard: Next, the legendary Naitch.



Naitch: WOOOO! Picking the winner here was harder than Lil’ Naitch after a vial of T-Rex Viagra! But the challenger is my pick for the next big thing in the C-Feds. The Naitch votes…AZRIEL

Howard: And lastly…Dumbeldore!

Dumbeldore: Well…

Suddenly, Snape comes running through the crowd with a gun!



*BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!*

Snape kills Dumbeldore!

The crowd boos as the evil Snape runs off through the exit ramp. Somewhere backstage, Lord Voldermort is laughing.

Azriel: Well, I guess this leaves no other choice.

Innovator: I wouldn’t have it any other way.

SUDDEN DEATH

The weary combatants circle each other for one last exchange. Innovator makes the first move; with no more tricks up his sleeve, Innovator tries for the direct approach, brawling with the challenger until he gets the upper hand.



Azriel stumbles, and Innovator puts him down with a dropkick.



With one last chance to finish Azriel off, Innovator preps him for the Last Exit…



…but Azriel reverses and drops him into the CROSSFACE!



The crowd pops huge as Azriel locks in the hold.



Innovator fights it…

…he starts to fade…

…and taps out!!!!

*DING DING DING!!!*

The crowd explodes as the referee raises Azriel’s hand in victory.



A bloody and defeated Innovator takes the World Heavyweight Title, holding it out one last time…



…then hands it to Azriel, who can’t believe it.



The crowd gives both men a standing ovation, and Azriel holds up his title as Forum Mania Three FINALLY goes off the air.



WINNER: NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: AZRIEL
