No, because Elway's stats his first 4 seasons weren't all that great and the last thing I need is that fucking idiot thinking Flacco can even compare to Elway

Yeah I know, but regardless of his stats a Super Bowl appearance in his 4th season with two 11 win seasons and a 12 win season prove far more to me than his stats. Plus he didn't have a defense that was arguably the best in the league behind him.

Colts ended up getting one of the best QBs ever so I'd say it's all good.

Used to love Gameday 98 with TD on the cover. Played that thing for ages, unfortunately TD would end up busting a 99 yard run and end up with a pulled hamstring every game he played.
My brother, playing as the Phins, managed to get 3 qbs injured in one game and ended up with Thurman Thomas playing qb at the end. Probably my favorite football game. |

lol yeah I remember that. If you hit the speed burst button twice on one play it was an automatic pulled hamstring that knocked you out for the rest of the game. Thing I once tried to injure as many people as possible and wound up with 11 guys left on the team, no more injuries allowed - and those 11 guys had to be on the field for every play for offense, defense, and special teams.

Actually I remember some of the old games allowed you to create your own teams and you could have as few a 11 players on it if you wanted. Was funny watching an offensive line vs. defensive line game.

Too bad he never played the Ravens.
Would laugh my ass off if the Bengals and Broncos win and he has to bring his Broncos to Baltimore for the Divisional Round. |

Honestly if Denver wins I think I would prefer Baltimore to New England again, not that I think they would necessarily have much of a chance, I just don't want them to go out via the Pats.

Jeff Fisher has narrowed his job choices to just Miami and St Louis although if the Rams don't get Fisher, they might go after the Cardinals defense coordinator for the job.
Mike Tice replaces Martz as the new offensive coordinator for the Bears. Steelers announce Roethlisberger will start despite his injured ankle against the Broncos. Patriots will have a new offensive coordinator next season as O'Brien (9 years with the Pats) will become Penn State's new head coach. |

lol, apparently Brady Quinn got TWO whole reps today, which according to him is normal for a Friday, and some idiot "league source" is blowing up the story as Quinn has been getting half the reps all week. So anything you may read about this is trash. Not only is the report being thoroughly denied by all Broncos reporters, but Quinn himself is calling BS

Ive made my mind up this morning that if the Ravens go to New England for the AFC Championship I will hop on an Amtrak (droford riding Amtrak!!?!) to Boston/South South Station from BWI Airport and sit in section 338 as I can get a ticket up there and the train round trip for about $500. No fucking way im going to the Super Bowl (cheapest ticket Ive seen online is $2500).

Brent Grimes hasn't been practicing and is listed as questionable with a knee injury. He'll certainly end up playing, but it won't be 100%. That could end up being a huge factor with the Giants' penchant for deep plays.

Texans -3.5
Lions +10.5 -- Giants -3.5 Broncos +8.5 I could have also bet on the Pro Bowl (NFC -3.5) or Super Bowl (NFC -4) |
