'New' Marvel Films
Basicly I was thinking of picking up all of the 'new' Marvel DVDs to make a kind of collection. So which ones have they already made?
And to make this into more of a discussion, with mentions of Iron Man and a new Fantastic Four, what have they got left to do on the Marvel front that would be any good and you would want to see if done right? |

Well I want an Iron Man movie. In truth I'd really like a movie like the Marvel Nemesis game.

Of all the new films recently, there is currently:
Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, X-Men, X-Men 2, The Punisher, Daredevil, Elektra, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Man-Thing, Blade, Blade 2 and Blade Trinity. But there are still plenty of things Marvel can make movies for... Currently in the works is Iron Man and Ghost Rider. They could do all sorts... Dr. Strange, Cloak and Dagger, Wolverine is gonna get a solo one, Sleepwalker, Nova, Solo, She-Hulk, Captain America, Thor... and most importantly... the Avengers! |

Magneto's getting his own movie? Coooool.
Ant Man and Shang Chi seem as though they could be a bit dull. Nick Fury? Why? What's wrong with the first one? |

Ghost Rider-The Trailer looks great, but I thought he was huge in the comics.
Spider Man 3-Lloyd and Topher should be great villians. Cloak & Dagger-And here I thought they're doing a remake of the spy flick. Dr. Strange-The first one was great. Black Panther-Hmmmmmm. Who will be T'Challa? Captain America-If they make it during WW2 with Red Skull. I'm there. Silver Surfer-I would tie him into the Fantastic 4 somehow. Iron Man-Mandrin is the villian. WHO IS GONNA BE TONY STARK! Punisher 2-First one was great. Who would he go after? Thor-It could work.... Nick Fury-Like Rammsteinmad said. What's wrong with the first. Daredevil 2-The first one was great. Another one would be better. Elektra 2-Please spare us. Hulk 2-If they really put effort into it, I'll see it. If not See above |

Is Ang Lee directing Hulk 2? Because I really want to see "Hulk wish Hulk could quit you!"

Hulk 2 is being directed by Louis Leterrier, who did Unleashed and The Transporter 1 and 2.

I would love to see a huge epic Marvel film... kinda like the Onslaught Saga. Make it one of those 3 hour movie epics and try and get in all these actors who have played all the heroes in their individual films. Imagine how many star names they would get in one movie. And Onslaught would be killer on the big screen.

And imagine how much it would cost...
The new Hulk movie apparently isn't going to be that closely linked with the first one. For a start, Eric Bana won't be reappearing. |

If they did a film round teh new Civil War series, then that would be awesome.
Also I heard that Marvel had a deal with Pixar now? |

Age of Apocalypse would be cool, but probably wouldn't work. People who aren't fans of the comics probably wouldn't know what the fuss is all about. |

I'm not sure Onslaught would be any different, though.

Well it could basically work with Onslaught coming about and the Marvel universe teaming together to stop him. They'd probably have to change his origin a bit because the whole Professor X shutting down Magneto's mind hasn't happened in the movies. But movies always have small differences than the comics anyway.
With the AOA, because of the whole paralell universe spawning from the death of Professor X at the hands of Legion, that probably wouldn't work as a movie. But Onslaught owns. I also thought something with Galactus would be cool, but I think he's in the next Fantastic Four film, so maybe not. |

Being that Onslaught is not as popular a story arc as secret war or infinity gauntlet, and the fact that many comic readers hate the crossover, you pretty much have a 1-1,000,000 chance of seeing this.
Also, Onslaught turned pretty gay for me, as soon as they pussed out, and made him some evil seed of magneto, or some stupid retarded bullshit. Shoulda just been xavier driven insane. |
