Besides, you stand to make more by resigning with a team, then going into free agency.

Yeah if LeBron comes to NY it'll show he really doesn't care about winning...he'd be coming because he'd instantly be THE guy in NY, probably rivaled only by Jeter.

The Knicks basically gave up last years 1st round pick, 2012 first round pick and the swapping of 2011 picks to get rid of Jeffries and have the cap space. Donnie Walsh's main goal was to go big in this free agent class and he's set the team up to do that. These are the Knicks though so chances are they fail miserably. I do think LeBron will stay with Cleveland though. |

on a side note, i think Bynum would benefit big time if he added a jump-stop to his usual tricks. Now that i think about it, i dont see anyone use it anymore...not since Shaq during the three-peat anyway.

i dont really qualify a posterize as someone dunking with the guy BEHIND him trying to contest the shot. On the other hand, what Odom did to Ray Ray, thats a poster.

I didn't realize there was a clear set of rules. Shannon Brown tried to block the shot and ended up fouling him. He got jammed on
Also Lamar Odom is like 7 feet tall, I hope he could dunk on Ray Allen. Dunking on Perk was much more impressive |

Ray Allen burying jumpers right now. Hopefully the whole trade talk thing blowing over is gonna get him outta the funk he's been in.

If you were a Laker fan would you hate Pau Gasol? I can't stand that guy
To be honest I'm not really on the Rasheed Wallace bandwagon, hasn't done much since he's come to Boston. Maybe if he picks it up to finish out this year I'll change my tune, but right now I'm not really feeling him on the C's. |

I would love Pau Gasol if he were on the Sixers.
Rasheed looks to be washed up. |

Someone on the Lakers needs to step up in the 4th, otherwise I don't foresee them picking up the W.

What do you mean? Being dunked ON means a guy is in front of you, thus, you dunk ON him. Get it? If he's behind you, youre not dunking ON the guy, youre just dunking. Allen dunked and got fouled, but by no means was that him dunking on Brown.

lol@ Daniels...i remember some Celt fan saying 'we're missing Daniels, when we get him back, we'll be strong'. That would be like the Lakers 'missing' Sasha V.

Yeah it was phill's call. I mean, it would have been fine if the time out was given rigth when Gasol asked for it. Lakers could have had a good 5 seconds on the clock.
I'm pretty mad at Fisher. Instead of going for the game winner he tried to draw a foul with 2 seconds left. WTF FISHER????????????? |

Bigger question should be, why did Fisher have the ball? Gasol, Odom, Artest, Bynum would all be better options.

I don't even know why I am continually posting about this, doesn't even matter. Celtics squeak out with the win. Outside of Ray their shooting was pretty awful, especially Rondo - I'll take it. Hopefully they can get Nate in for the next game, would have liked to see if he could have sparked some offense during that big run by the Lakers in the 4th. Celtics only scored 11 points in the 4th...ridiculous |

Yeah not liking how last few weeks Celtics have a really bad 3rd or 4th quarter but today they actually played tough defense in the 4th since Lakers only scored 17 points vs C's 11 points.
ESPN or TNT had the stat of after the Lakers mini-run in early 4th quarter, they didn't make another FG for last 6-7 minutes of the game. |

Is it me, or has Fisher basically become worthless. I mean, dude doesnt even TRY to defend anymore, he tries to draw fouls. There was a play early on where Ray Allen took a shot, and Fish literally just tucked his arms in...didnt even have a hand up.

Hopefully nasty Nate can cure some of their offensive foes. Marquis Daniels wasn't even a threat at all off the pine, dude didn't even attempt a shot - nevermind make one.
Lakers are going to be nearly impossible to beat if all the bigs play well. Their size up front with Odom, Bynum and Gasol is ridiculous. Last edited by Jesus Shuttlesworth; 02-19-2010 at 01:54 AM. |

Knicks are getting Amar'e and somebody else. They better hope it's Wade. Might end up like Joe Johnson though.
