Fallout New Vegas, 360.

Not yet as enthralling of an expierience as Fallout 3 was (seems like a lighter version of Fallout 3) but I am enjoying it and hoping for more as I am early into the game.

Just beat Duke Nukem Forever...what an awesome game, best single player FPS I've played in years. The only flaws are that its too short and they made it a bit too PC by having pig cops not look like cops anymore...other then that, everything was awesome, I just wish it was a longer game. Here's hoping for a sequel.

Next will probably play Deus Ex : HR. Also playing Red Dead Redemption.

Got Undead Nightmare Collection as part of the deal of the week.

Playing UN right now and feeling a little let down. I've heard good things and my brother in law told me it was brilliant.
Playing it and, admitedly, only done one main mission and just been doing a stranger task the rest of the time but I feel like I'm being pushed through the game already.
Like I can't stop and do something else, I have to go from here to there.

I'm already getting a little tired of the whole zombie thing (How can people do this for almost every game that comes out these days?). Go to a town, clear it of enemies, move on to the next town.
Doesn't help that everything seems to be tinted a dark green.

Does the game get better than this? (no spoilers, just a yes or no and a rough estimate of how far into the story it improves. 1/3 of the way in or whatever.)

Haven't played UN, in fact just picked up RDR (and finished it) like a month ago. But I'm the sure that when it came out a year ago during zombie-fad UN was awesome. The only input having not played it is that of course you're going to feel rushed and it's just cause of it being an expansion. I mean, shit I just bought TLAD for GTA4 and don't wanna play it yet cause I'm doin 100% completion. It asks if I wanna play TLAD, I say no, it starts the first cutscene for it and has a save all ready for me. Maybe it's just Rockstar's expansion system, or their vision of DLC

I think I hated Brotherhood more than I have hated any single video game in a long time.

I hated the first Gears of War a couple of years ago when I had it, even traded it in after beating the first Berserker, strictly because of the AI of my partner. I bought it again a few months ago and finally got around to playing both of them over the last few weekends with my brother and I enjoyed them, especially the second one.

It's not a R* thing. I bought TLAD and didn't feel rushed at any point in the game, same when I bought TBoGT. I played both DLCs at my own pace and loved them both.

I hate the crowbarring of zombies into random games but I thought I'd give UN a try with it being RDR and R* but it's the same as every other zombie game I've seen on the 360.
You stand somewhere, zombies charge at you from all directions. You kill them all, you move on to the next area.

It seems to have stripped away a lot of the fun RDR features. No hunting or skinning animals, no gambling, no buying/selling, no bounties, no jobs, no fame, no honour/dishonour.

3 1/2 years to the day after it released, I finally made it to Elite rank in TCR6V2. My bro had owned it originally and then when he moved out I couldn't play it anymore because he took all his stuff with him (OBVI) and within the past month or two I picked up a copy for like $10 at GS. Good deal, although now that I'm done with T-Hunt (and don't really care about the achievement for completing Story Mode on Realistic difficulty anymore), I'll probably take it back sooner than later and use the in-store credit (or what there is of it anyway) towards my ES V: Skyrim pre-order total which is currently at a paltry $15.

Finished Deus Ex this afternoon. Could have sworn I had the game on hard mode and I sure as hell didn't kill anybody. Pretty pissed that I gotta go through this again.

I think I'm going to zip through Dragon Age 2 again before Arkham City drops.
