I don't get the Jericho thing. Seems like a kayfabe answer for a mark question to me. Obviously so.
Shitty reporting right there. |

Oh Please...
Blame the Writers, not the Wrestlers.. I'm sure they didn't even plan out that match, or put any thought into anything about it since it was their last. The idea of that final match was for them to look bad and Stone Cold to get the last word. But in reality, Stone Cold Steve Austin is just as much of a shitty if not shittier wrestler than Bill Goldberg, except he swears, flicks people off, and drinks beer on Television, not much of a role model for young kids. Let's not forget the roid rage and beating up Debra. Bill Goldberg could be brought back correctly, throw the security back on, make a story on the megatron of his past and rise in WCW, and his HUNGER for revenge against Lesner and Austin, and bring it down to have a 3 way match in 2013 WM. |

You can blame the writers for bulding the feud without Goldberg even being there cause of "suspension". But Im pretty sure there was an interview with Goldberg where he talked about that match and he even said that neither of them really cared because they were leaving.
And HHH would rather job to a rookie every RAW for the rest of his career than bring Goldberg back. And even if he did theres no way he would invest the time and money in the story to rebuild his hype. |

To be fair, the build to that match was pretty awesome. I remember everyone on here going crazy when they both brawled at No Way Out leading up to 'Mania. And if that was any indication of the match, we were all pretty excited to see it.
I always put the shittiness of the match down to how it was booked. Everyone wanted to see these two monsters come out and tear each other apart. So when we got ten minutes of growling and 'evenly matched' encounters, it kinda killed the flow of the match. |

Teachers' Corner: French teacher uses WWE in the classroom January 4, 2012 WWE.com's Teachers' Corner is a place for educators to share their stories about how they use WWE as a tool in their classrooms. Stay tuned to Teachers' Corner for more information on the upcoming WrestlMania Reading Challenge and to read teachers' stories about how WWE has helped their students succeed. Teachers' Corner recently received a letter from an educator in France who uses WWE DVDs to help teach students English: Hi! I’m an English teacher from France. Last month I was explaining to my five students (17-21 years old) how to pay tribute in English. We used DVDs from the first SmackDown after 9/11 and the Raw Tribute Show to Eddie Guerrero. The lesson was very emotional. Watching thousands of people singing “USA” was something they’ve never seen before. They definitely loved it! Some of the French students are young WWE fans, so at the beginning of the lesson they had some fun guessing the names of the wrestlers appearing. At the end of the hour they told me that was the most interesting course they’ve ever attended. Marine Vermesse Are you an educator with a story you want to share with WWE.com's Teachers' Corner? Goldbergs pretty under rated in ring tbh.
He was sent out there night after night to demolish jobbers in short order and no sell anything short a tank with the odd true opponent thrown in... Not exactly a great way to show off your ring work. |
