iTunes question....

So I have my iTunes set up in Playlists, with one for every band I listen to and all their albums located inside which I have meticulously added album art for..... I also have a "Classic Rock" playlist with random songs from different artists, with a generic "classic rock" picture for album art...... When I sort the songs by album on my iPod, I have like 250 of this picture, which takes up a load of space....... is there a way to fix it so that "Classic Rock" only shows up as one album and not 250 separate ones?

Sounds like Album Art was added for each song on those albums. When I add artwork, I usually just do it for the first track. Maybe that wasnt explained right.

Do you have the album set up as a compilation? Different artists on the same album? I'm certain that when you have them grouped together as a compilation on one album, and you add artwork for that first track, that's the only time it appears.

1:30am here, feeling cluttered...Did any of that help at all?

There are different artists on the same album and setting them up as a compilation did not work...... and I want the artwork for all the songs of the album, and not just the first.....
