BC still has to play at Clemson and FSU/Miami are always tough for them no matter their record
Plus I got a bad feeling about Maryland so I really don't know. I had a bad feeling about tonight's game until everyone kept talking all garbage about BC can't go to Va Tech and win...why the fuck not? They have done it recently, plus Virgina Tech is something like 34-3 on Thursday nights...all 3 loses coming to BC |

5 bucks says he was at the world series game... After the ALCS win you could see him on the field with the players. anyway, huge win... they haven't announced the time for the FSU game yet, I'd assume prime-time, this area will be nuts. |

No he wasn't doing the game, but they cut back to him a few times like for the starting line-ups on offense (Papelbon did the D) and for a few other things

Actually you're right, it was Papelbon cuz I remember he said something about a defensive back and also mention that kid on the O-line from Somerville. I think Flutie might have actually just been talking about the players on offense, they cut to him at least two times that I saw. He was basically just busting the balls of the announcers saying "I don't care what you say I'm gonna say WE tonight, WE are gonna play good D" etc
I honestly think they might have had Flutie re-announce the D or something, but I'm not totally sure Still can't believe BC won though |

Do people actually believe Anthony Morelli is going to lead Penn State to victory against the best defense in the nation that has given up a whole 4 touchdowns the entire season? Come on.

Boise St. 34 - Fresno St. 21
Well, Fresno State proved they are every bit as bad as they were last year, only they've managed to pull off an inflated record. |

Unbelievable drive by Sanchez and USC. Like 5 passes 75 yards. 40 seconds or so. Was rediculous and now its a 1 touchdown game.
I got USC +3 on my card. I'm hoping they score a TD to get within six. Fire Pete Carroll, hire a recently ( 1 second ago ) fired Les Miles and go for 2 points and the win. |

Did anyone see that play from Div. III Trinity College (or something like that) from Texas? They lateral the ball about 16 times on the final play, score, and win the game. Trying to find a video of it...

Yeah but Ohio State hasn't been tested yet. They're not blowing out good teams, they're just blowing out teams that everyone thought was good and thought they'd beat OSU but they showed that they were just overrated.

I'm not totally sold on them either, but I think OSU and BC have played about the same level of competition thus far, and so I give the nod to OSU. I think they've played a little better than BC, though Va Tech is better than any team OSU has played.
Arizona State is closing in rapidly and I had a tough time placing them behind LSU, LSU just looks like a stronger team. A win over Cal is big, but they still have USC and Oregon coming up. If ASU runs the table they should be #1. They will have played the toughest opponents hands down. |

No see I was being sarcastic because Ohio State blows out teams and makes them look bad. Everyone's been drinking Big Ten haterade this year which is fair but nobody doubted USC was #1 when the Pac 10 was terrible so I don't see the difference when OSU has gone 31-3 over the last 3 years and by a wide margin has the best defense in the nation.

yeah they had a bad game (after their best player got hurt while scoring on the first play of the game) but everyone seems to forget that they beat the #2 team in the nation twice last year
the fact that a 1 loss team can get into the BCS title game should be proof enough that you can't judge a team by one game The Patriots have been beating up on shitty opponents all year but nobody questions if they're the best team in the NFL so how's this any different? |

no the Cowboys are good but the Pats made them look bad just like when Ohio State plays a team that was good before the game started, they make them look bad too but the difference is people still think the Cowboys are good despite getting destroyed but Purdue and Penn State were just overrated.

Other than being undefeated Kansas has done very little to warrant being a top 10 team. They have played no ranked teams all season.

I agree Kansas is overated. But they did beat Kansas St. at Kansas St when they were ranked. It was the week after Kansas St. destroyed Texas on the road.

Missouri is kicking the shit out of Colorado at Colorado. 41-10 in the third quarter. I don't know how Kansas is the better team. Missouri has only lost one game, AT the No. 5 team in the nation in Oklahoma. Kansas has three road wins, which is solid, but they don't play Texas or Oklahoma. Missouri beat Colorado much more soundly than Kansas did, and even though Kansas put up hella points against Nebraska, the score differential was within two points of Missouri's win. Only difference is that Missouri held Nebraska to 6 while Kansas let them score 30+ with a backup quarterback.

Brent Musburger gave up on BC after FSU scored to go up by 10 with 7-8 mins left. He said LSU is going to move up to #2 in the polls and they are celebrating in Baton Rouge I guess he never seen BC come back on VT down by 10 with 2 Mins left lol.

Kansas will end up losing to Missouri, the Big 12 title game if they make it, and their bowl game if they make a tough one.

No, Kansas is a legitimately solid team, just not as good as they are getting credit for. They have a real good offense, hard for anybody in the nation to stop. Just not as solid as the No. 5 ranking they will probably end up with today.

I wonder if Kansas runs the table and goes unbeaten if they will make the National Title game or a 1 loss LSU/Oregon/WV would get in over them?
