Knicks-Heat series basically done although Knicks barely had any real chance once Stod went out. Knicks problem is something they've been fighting whole season in being too streaky with their runs and Melo "ball hogging" the shots while the other side has Lebron who almost averages a foul call per shot attempt in the playoffs so far.
According to ESPN, Knicks just broke the record for most playoff losses in a row at 13 (Grizzles had 12) and tied the Heat for most playoff games in a row without scoring 100 pts (38) Last edited by Emperor Smeat; 05-03-2012 at 10:09 PM. |

I think if Lin, Shumpert and Amare were playing all these games this series would have been a real good one. This team playing shorthanded at all against the Heat would have made it extremely difficult. Playing without all three has made the series impossible.
Davis-Fields-Novak-Melo-Chandler has to be one of the worst playoff starting 5s ever put out there. |

Cs played like crap in the final 5 minutes of regulation and wasted a nice double digit lead but played a lot better in OT for the 2-1 series lead.
Rondo had probably one of the ugliest triple doubles (5 for 17 shooting before OT) but according to ESPN he's now tied with Lebron for most playoff triple doubles at 7. |

now I'm no expert but I didn't notice the refs having much to do with that first quarter ass pounding that was never recovered from

Asians are well known for being bandwagon jumpers. They are all 1990's MJ Bulls fans who came over when the Bulls started to suck. I'm glad you at least admitted it.

Baring a miracle, Philly is going to win their series and probably the 1st 8 seed to win since the Warriors years ago.
To be fair the Bulls title chances were essentially doomed once Rose went out since a lot of the offense ran through him and Miami became the "handpicked" chose ever since Game 1 of their series. |

They were like 18-9 without Rose during the season. And Philadelphia pretty much limped into the postseason. They shouldn't have been doomed when Rose went down.

Yeah but in the playoffs, teams tend to play a shorter bench and loosing a starter of his quality hurt the team badly. Before Rose's injury, people penciled in the Bulls as either a potential champion, NBA Finals, or East Finals team.
Philly did struggle but Philly also showed signs of tanking to get the Bulls since the matched up a lot better against them than the Heat during the season. |

Even down 3-1 and essentially out of the series its amazing just to feel a postseason victory for the Knicks. Been a while.
If Wade had made that 3 at the buzzer I would have died. |

Yeah as far as I'm concerned, actually winning a playoff game makes the entire season a success. They'll more than likely go down in Game 5, but who cares. The playoff winless streak is snapped.
Was screaming at my TV when Anthony missed those first 2 free throws. Glad he didn't wind up being the goat despite the 40 pt game. |

I read on Deadspin that that lady at the Nuggets game was actually a crazy ass stalker who had been banned from the arena for life for harassing players. But she got into the arena last night.

It's interesting to me that fans don't come onto the floor more often during basketball games. You see it all the time in baseball, football, and soccer where people have to jump over barricades to get onto the field. But in basketball where the fans are literally right next to the court with nothing blocking them, it rarely happens.

When did P.A. announcer start saying "That foul was offensive" for Offensive fouls? It's fucking annoying and dumb.

Cs had 2 chances to steal the win at the end but instead blundered both chances.
Hawks take game 5 but still down 2-3 overall. |
