Couldn't being myself to do it. It's crazy. Even though I know I'm never gonna wear some of these shirts ever, I can't bring myself to destroy a shirt that did not provoke me in any way.

So from reading TNA's spoilers for this weeks Impact, it seems they've fucked themselves out of a great PPV promotional tool again, by letting the Hardy's reunite on FREE TV!! Instead of building up them reuniting for a PPV. You would think even TNA had enough common sense to use THAT to their advantage.

Didn't they sorta unite at the PPV itself?

I kindof thing you are bloating the value of that just to make a point of its stupidity. It was dumb that they did it but I don't think it has much money value. They have reunited at least five times in the past. It wasn't as bad as when they had both RVD Vs. Jeff Hardy and RVD Vs. AJ Styles on the same night on tv for the TNA Championship. |

Could Nexus be broken into 2 groups
Nexus has it's personalities.
As seen last night on Raw, it looks like they are booking Health Slater, Otunga, and Justin Gabriel as somewhat faces. They've always been pretty reluctant to follow orders when it's unnecessary violence. My question is, would it be possible to break the 3 away from Nexus to form their own stable to feud with Nexus as faces. If needed, you could bring back some of the old Nexus Members to fill in the ranks to keep Nexus numbers on their side. I look at Justin Gabriel and see another Evan Bourne. I look at Otunga and see another John Cena. I look at Health Slater and see another babyface CM Punk. Your ideas? The Leader of The Adam Evans Fan Club! |

It could be done. I don't know if it would work so well, but it could be done. Just as long as Stevie Ray and Vincent aren't in charge of it.

How is Otunga a face? I will admit though, your writing is a lot easier to read now.

To play devil's advocate here, I will say that the first comparison isn't anywhere near as ridiculous as the two that follow it.

Heath Slater as the babyface CM Punk? Justin Gabriel is the one with the epic beard dude! If anything he's the CM Punk.
I would say this could work only if they were on two different brands. Both of the groups would be heels though, so it wouldn't be like the the nWo black and white and the Wolfpack. We'll have to see what happens on Smackdown. I'm guessing that Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel will switch to the Blue Team tonight. They will end up helping Wade Barrett defeat The Big Show and will be the The Nexus. Since CM Punk has now changed the name to the New Nexus (which Michael Cole botched by saying it before Punk did btw) I would say that the Nexus name is up for grabs. |

Gabriel has the most potential of any of them IMO. Good look, good style. Unfortunately his character has never really been developed.

I always figured they'd try a 2nd nexus group on smackdown, or at least use the tag belts as an excuse for them to be on both brands. Punk said something about who'd be stupid enough to take this kind of abuse anyway, figured it'd lead to Slater/Gabriel getting a more prominent role in the group rather than kicked out.

If Slater and Gabriel stay on Raw they'll get lost in the shuffle...they're not going align themselves with Cena, and otherwise they'll go the way of Darren Young.
I say move them to Raw and stick them with Barrett. Have them interfere with his match w/ Show this week, under the pretense of them wanting to get back under him because of all the success they had (Tag Team Titles, they beat Edge and Orton, etc). Makes Barrett more of a force, gives them an "out" to Barrett beating Show, and could create a cool rumble moment where the two Nexi face off. |

I don't think Nexus could effectively split up. They may all have potential now, but it's too soon to drop them from Nexus. Gabriel and Slater need more character development before they can go out on their own or they will end up like Darren Young...they will get pops initially for coming back to feud with their former stable-mates, but what do you do with them after that? People will eventually get bored and they can't feud with Nexus forever. At best, they would end up in an eight man tag match with Cena and Orton vs. Punk, McGillicuty, Harris, and Otunga, but once that rub wears off...back to jobbing on Superstars.

The first thing that came to mind was that Gabriel, Ginger will follow Barrett to Smackdown and reform there. Maybe throw Sheffield in the mix if hes due back anytime soon. I cant see them succeeding on their own at this point.

Here's what I don't get. Why keep rotating the Nexus roster as WWE has been doing since its inception? One guy comes in, two guys go out, etc etc.
Why not just stick with the original lineup in the first place...or one of the lineups at any time after that. Even up to the present time, it appears the roster keeps shifting. It just detracts from the strength and goals of the stable and prevents character development. Hell, guys like Slater and Gabriel should have more personality than they do 8 months from their debut. So, instead of two feuding nexuses, I would still prefer just one strong stable that is enjoyable to watch and has strong characters in it. |

I wouldn't be surprised if one group went back to Barrett and another stayed with Punk and those groups feuded for awhile.
Punk's Jim Jones esque persona is intense and I think a program between Barrett and Punk would be interesting. |

The Nexus situation now, with Gabriel and Slater, is really interesting and certainly has my attention.
However, to be honest, there are so many possibilities with where this could go that I can't even be bothered to imagine it. I'm just gonna wait it out and see what happens. |

Good analogy on Slater/Gabriel joining Barrett on Smackdown.
I could see Barrett making a return to Raw for one night only and "saving" his true longtime followers and bringing them back to "his" show. But I wonder where Otunga would fit into this since he seems like a one man team or a leader instead of taking orders from Barrett or CM Punk. A blue group would be interesting.. How about Otunga turning face, screwing over CM Punk and teaming with Cena to form a STELLER TAG TEAM of 2 who can't wrestle but look like beasts! |

The problem is that I think Dixie Carter makes enough money for herself running the company the way it is now that she doesn't see a reason to push it. They could make more money if they somehow can find a way to get out of the lease on the Impact Zone or whatever deal they have with Universal Studios.
TNA live shows usually do fair to good. They need to get out there and charge the fuck out of people to watch it. You'd also get a fan base that actually cares that they are watching and having been trucked in from riding some Harry Potter Quidditch ride. Last TNA event I went to the place was going nuts. It's time for them to stop the what else do we need in talent. It's time to serious move out of Florida and whatever wrestlers don't like it it's time for them to retire and fuck off. Get the young people out on the road and have them do what they do. |

If the people bitching about missing Attitude Era style wrestling, that might be as close as you're going to get under the PG confines. |

Kurt Angle will have a wrestling role to come back too or atleast more active of a in ring role than Foley.
If his situation with Jarrett and his wife ever goes south, then he can easily return to WWE soon. Until then, he has good chemistry and a good feud to run with Jarrett for a while. |
