I love that the best MITB winner isn't even on the poll XD Punk is second best though IMO so, at least he's there...

Watched a Cactus Jack DVD yesterday. Only eight matches so I wasn't expecting much.
It was so bad. Poorly produced. Two of the matches lasted less than a minute and four were DQ finishes (all interference). I feel like I would have enjoyed them a little if I'd known a little backstory. Also Tony Atlas and Brian Webster (not sure who that is) did "commentary" between matches, so I guess that was pretty cool. Disappointed overall, though. Was hoping for at least one good match. |

I purchased Undertaker's Wrestlemania 26 match from iTunes. They edited both Triple H and Taker's entrance. They replaced "For whom the bell" with a generic song and "Ain't no grave" with Taker's original entrance theme.

Every time I watch a Shane McMahon match I expect him to jump off high things, even though he hasn't done that shit for like 10 yrs.
Totally kills the match for me |

They do that with every DVD that has licensed or timed exclusive music for themes.
Majority of the time its not that big of a problem but once in a while it ends up being bad like Sandman having different music in the One Night Stand 2005 dvd instead of "Enter the Sandman." Not sure if they edited the crowd singing the lyrics to the song on the dvd though. |

That's one reason, if not, the main reason why I rarely buy WWE DVD's.
I'm really not a fan of dubbing theme music and also the massive blurs over the WWF logo of footage from The Attitude Era, along with the F being muted when someone says "WWF". I know it's not the WWE's fault and it's all for legal reasons, but it just puts me off from buying some WWE DVD's. |

I DO blame WWE, really. I guarantee you there is a relatively sane amount of money WWE could give to the WWF to allow that footage to be released, and Vince just isn't interested.
I do want to say that I believe WWE will eventually do it just to re-release "uncensored" versions of their old shows, but they've put in so many man-hours as it is editing that shit to hell that it may actually not be worth it at this point. I could definitely see it, but WWE is happy with their WWE branding so I don't know. |

I honestly don't even see how it's legally feasible that they'd NEED to do this editing. As long as they PROMOTE it as WWE footage and "archival" or something, I don't see how seeing a logo or hearing "WWF" really does anything. Even if they have to put a disclaimer at the beginning of the show stating that it's archival and that the WWF name belongs to the World Wildlife Fund.
Almost feel that it's Vince saying "fuck you, we can't use the letters? FINE, we'll get rid of them all." "All of them!?" "ALL OF THEM." The only thing I can really figure is that the Fund actually owns the WWF scratch logo now or something. |

I'm pretty sure he dove off of something onto bathturd. That was like 5 years ago. Either way Shane-o-Mac is the fucking man. Loved his matches.

Thinking I might go to Monday's Raw, but maybe not. I haven't been to a show since Survivor Series 2008.
