Narc falls under the local team bandwagon exception anyway.

Of course when there's two local teams the analysis gets a little murkier.
Don't let me catch you rooting for the Raiders if the Niners start losing. |

Have you ever met a Raiders fan? I've met like 4,000 and every single one of them probably secretly wanted to murder me or somebody in my immediate family.
I'd sooner walk into a prison with 100 dollar bills strapped to my chest before I'd willingly go to a Raiders game. |

Patriots released Albert Hanesworth with the big problems being fatigue issues during games and disappointing stats.
Belichick is relying heavily on a rotation system to keep the defense fresh and it ended up making a lot more players compete for the spot Hanesworth was taking up during games. He ended up favoring Kyle Love over Hanesworth in terms of importance during games. |

When Haynesworth joined the Patriots, he took a pay cut in base salary from $5.4 million to $1.5 million. *He had the chance to make that money back in playing time incentives. He won’t make any of the money back now.

Yeah, but when he introduced himself on SNF he was from Ball So Hard University. Only thing better was Anquan Boldin wearing an Orioles hat in his intro.
Also..EXTREMELY PREMATURE PLAYOFF SCENARIO GENERATOR LINK Right here, with the Ravens as the #1 seed The Ravens last 5 games (Cleveland x2, @Cincy, Indy and @SD) |

Tampa Bay Bucs claimed Albert Haynesworth from waivers but admit they had no real interest in him until Gerald McCoy got this week and out for the season.

No way Ravens snag #1 seed. Especially because they've proven this season that they have Saints-like meltdowns every once in while like when playing the Jags... You can't have such a hot and cold offense if you're planning on toppling the Patriots.
I don't think the Niners will get #1 seed either, for the record. That chart has the Niners finishing at 15-1. No fucking way. |

If a team brings their 'A' game against the Pats they are beatable. In my mind, they've lost that fear factor. The Pats have gotten by with marginal talent in the past but I think they're just not strong enough in certain areas to still be what they've been in the past. |

I think the Ravens can get to 13 wins which is 7-1 down the stretch. 4 of those games are vs the Browns, Seahawks and Colts. The other 4 are Cincy, SF and SD, and as of now SD might not be that bad of a game even though its in SD. The SF game is probably the toughest game they have left and its in Baltimore where the Ravens play much better and SF has the short week and travel. It'll probably come down to how well Cincy plays vs the Ravens and Steelers. and you're talking about toppling the Patriots..um..lets remember the playoffs 2 years ago..the offense was worse than it is now and the defense is better..so..and who's to say the Patriots *gasp* even make the playoffs? |

That's just an archaic statistic mix and match thing. Yahoo has used it for years. It isn't a legitimate projection of anything.

I set it to use the better record to pick the winners. Obviously thats not gonna hold up but it still gives you an early idea of how things are shaping up.

I can imagine it right now.... Sean witherspoon.... right side blitz....BOWWWW Drew Brees lies motionless. Injury Report: Broken EVERY FUCKIN THING. I hope William Moore grabs Drew Brees for a sack, rips his head off, eats it right in front of everybody, and lets out a man-eating scream while blood is dripping from his mouth. Fuck the saints lol

Why would you wish that for a team that stands a chance to win the Super Bowl with a so-so QB?

Beating KC this week would not only be huge for playoff chances but it'd also be Denver's first wins back to back since Nov. 26-Dec. 6 2009
