Goldbergs Return... Can it be done with hype?
Do you remember the old days when Goldberg made his way out to the ring?
Sure, WCW, hyped it up alot but the crowd got into it. People would have the hair on their necks raise up as people chanted... If WWE were to bring him back, could you see them using the same entrance? Why or Why not? Would this help viewership and bring back some of the excitement that the late 90s, early 00s had? |

I don't think his entrance makes any difference whether or not his return would be successful.

I think that's a lot for an entrance to accomplish.

The WolfPac is BACK! TNA News
It's no secret. The WolfPac is back!
Hall has gone back to his original wrestling gear and the hype is here! The music is playing.... It's Stings turn.. He's heel, will he be joining the WolfPac? Hogans team is looking more like the NWO as Abyss can be seen as The Giant of the old days. Flairs team is an obvious spoof of the Four Horsemen.. Times like these, I wish that Raven and Konnan were still with TNA so they can revive their respected stables and get things really going... Konnan coming back and partaking in the WolfPac would be huge but after the lawsuit, that's less than likely. The whole Angle vs Anderson shoot has been great but really? How is Anderson going to say that he's the bad guy and Angle is always the good guy? If anything, these two are exactly the same character.. Obnoxious, Pathetic, yet thrilling at times, and robust. They'd make one hell of a tag team! P.S. Ric Flair, keep your shirt on! |

The entrance was the starting point, the winning streak, and the never getting beat down in the ring also added to the hype. However, the detail of the entrance, the excitement in the crowd, and the anticipation when it was HIS time was evident. Today, we don't have that. I'm starting to see it with Orton, which is great, but still, we could use more people with this overzealous ability.

The ripped off version of the Wolfpac song is hilarious. Even more so then any other of the TNA ripoffs.

TNA scored a 0.6 this week. Originally I was hoping TNA would succeed, but at this point, I kinda hope it bombs as quickly as possible just so Hogan and Bischoff can lose all credibility and realize that rehashing the past is not the answer.

If this is true, no TNA marks are allowed to get all pissy about people laughing at TNA.

After Bret coming back this is entirely possible. Add that to the fact that he said he would like his kid to see him wrestle, and he is in negotiations for some kind of a contact (although we know its not a talent contract) and I think Goldberg is just like any wrestler, addicted. They never say never. Personally I really hope that this happens. I would love to see Goldberg come back for one last run.
A program that has Goldberg work with some younger guys building up to a match with John Cena would be amazing. We all want Cena to turn heel, and if it doesn't happen in a feud with the Undertaker I think that this would be perfect. Also, personally I really hope that Cena's turn is something physical and in the ring ala Bret Hart at WM 13, or Hogan in Bash at The Beach 96. Whatever they do with Goldberg needs to be like an undefeated streak. Also that makes me thing of a feud building up to WM 27 vs The Undertaker, streak vs streak, Goldberg is undefeated since his WWE return and Taker we all know. For some reason I really want him to come back, don't really know why. |

He used his same entrance in his previous WWE stint. I can't imagine him not using it for a one-off appearance.

Whilst entrances, catchphrases, attire, hand-signs and absolutely everything if unique or 'cool' enough can do wonders for wrestlers, Goldberg's entrance alone wouldn't be anywhere near enough to bring back viewership. It would undoubtedly help him get popular with the fans who've never seen him before, as I'm sure it did before, but that's about it.

Seriously, that should be Goldberg's gimmick if he returns. He breaks things that seem impossible with his bare hands. Windshields, boulders, Morrison's abs...
