Exclamation and now...TNA presents EXODUS

It seems everyone is leaving TNA, James Storm, Magnus, knockouts - I'm surprised Dixie is still around.

The question is will TNA make it until 2016 ?
TNA 2015 VS WCW 2000 , which is worse?

WWE needs to sign Roode, Magnus, Storm, Aries, among others....I'd love to see a The Radicals type debut for them all, despite it might be difficult for the comparison with the whole Benoit thing..... too bad, because the comparison would be great.....

Not saying I necessarily believe it, but I have read that they are not doing live shows ATM.

Also, apparently some site was reporting thst Taryn Terell and Awesome Kong were leaving after tonight's "Slammiversary" show (didn't even know they could afford to put on PPVs at this point), but both tweeted that the rumors were false.

Yep, definitely nothing to worry about for #LOLRIPTNA right now...

No. They need the merge or buyout with GFW to happen just to last a bit longer.

Wrestling wise, both had their bright spots in the year but TNA's management is way worse than WCW's was in 2000. WCW's final demise occured because of stuff they had no control over (AOL's ownership) while Dixie has been the main source of TNA's problems for years. Takes a special level of ineptness to get kicked off of two networks within a year.

I think Aries would good in WWE. Samoa Joe is doing ok in NXT and I think Aries has enough of a following and a rep to get a decent pop if he were to say make an appearance on main WWE programming, running out costing someone like Cena the match etc.

I think with a lot of TNA talent being released and if WWE seriously wants them, no harm putting them on NXT. There certainly wouldn't be enough room on the main roster on RAW to fit everyone although if they were still here or fully fit seeing Aries taking on Punk or Daniel Bryan would have have been good.

Even Aries v Cena could work.

According to sources, some of the TNA talent who left recently are being “transferred” over to GFW in order to work a future invasion angle between the two promotions. The belief is that ant TNA talent going to GFW — specifically naming James Storm — will be back on TNA soon.

While Magnus is working the GFW shows on July 9th through the 11th as well as the TV taping on July 24th, he has not yet actually signed a contract with the promotion.

Also, Jeff Jarrett will be defending the King of the Mountain title in GFW.

It's not a step down as NXT is still a WWE programme and by that virtue such wrestlers are signed to/a part of WWE. That's like saying being on the bench at Barcelona FC is worse than playing first team football at say Rochdale FC.

But a minor gripe I have is with the name "NXT" which suggests the show is dominated by up and coming stars, those who are green etc which obviously is the case. THIS might be perceived as a step down/embarrassing for say an Austin Aries who is so used to headlining the top event at TNA etc.

However I feel that NXT is constantly improving and gaining in popularity and eventually the lines between the various WWE programming won't be as clear, more superstars appearing on the various shows etc.

Maybe it's just me but in recent times I've felt Smackdown has waned in terms of popularity and significance and perhaps NXT or a renamed NXT should be touted as the genuine "number 2 show" unless of course WWE follows through on the promise to return Smackdown to live broadcasts, in which case make NXT the number 3 show ahead of Main Event/Superstars etc.

Depends on the money. If it was to simply to get exposure NXT is a no brainer. They have more viewers than TNA and the brand is hot at the moment. If guys can make more money in the indys where they have more creative control then thats a better choice.

TNA 2015 VS WCW 2000 , which is worse?

Dubc, cause tnanstill has some good talent left.

TNA presents NUMBERS in a last ditch effort to get sympathy ratings and buyrates before the final death knell.

Man, some staples have left. This is pretty depressing for TNA. Austin Aries should manage to get himself a position in the WWE -- at least working on NXT where he should impress. Magnus has got the look and the talent and might end up with a shot. They're doing their best to piss over Barrett, so they could just have him come in and do the same shtick and no one would notice. James Storm never interested me on his own. Wait for Bobby Roode to quit then have them crash an NXT Tag Team Championship match. Not really moved by Gunner or Sam Shaw leaving. All the best to them, but they don't strike me as "special" talents.

Austin Aries could be a WWE main roster guy as would have AJ Styles had he jumped ship at the right i.e. when he was still sort of relevant. Saying all that though who would Aries feud with?

I guess I'm trying to recapture "the good old days" when a well-known wrestler making his debut on a rival show would lead to wild cheers and he'd get involved in a major feud almost instantly. The fact that Samoa Joe would go from a main eventer in TNA to languishing in NXT shows that this just isn't the case anymore.

I believe AJ Styles is more relevant now than he was when he was leaving TNA. NJPW has pushed him to the moon and the Bullet Club is over in Japan and the USA. Aries is a one that I could see going to NXT if Joe kinda recruits him. Aries has a past with ROH as a 2 time ROH champion and they could make a go at him as well. Then again he could be apart if the TNA/GFW invasion storyline.

Aries and AJ's best time to come would be now due to all of the smaller guys getting breaks in WWE

Joe has also been pretty much dead in the water for the last few years and hasn't even come close to being a hot commodity like he was in ROH or his initial TNA run.

Joe has been great in NXT. Something about it feels really special. I don't know if it's because he gets to use his own ring name, or if it's just surreal because there was always the "he's not the WWE's type" thing about him, but I've been enjoying the hell out of it. He's killing it with his intensity.

AJ Styles ending up in the WWE isn't such a wild stretch. Now would be the time, as he's distanced himself from TNA and has actually been doing some of the best work of his entire life. There was always something "cool" and marketable about him -- along the lines of a Rob Van Dam or Rey Mysterio type. If he showed up and confronted Finn Balor, I'm pretty sure "Holy shit" chants would break out.

I haven't watched TNA in a while, but Aries, besides from maybe his size, is the total package. And size doesn't matter anymore. In the ring, he is as crisp as it gets, and the stuff he does looks high impact. He can sell himself as a cocky heel or as a plucky underdog. He "gets it." Except for sticking around in TNA for so long. Put the guy in there against Samoa Joe (as his kryptonite) or against pretty much anyone on the roster and you've got gold.
