Watched season 1 over the weekend, LOVED IT!
I'm going to wait until season 2 finishes before I start it so I can binge on it over another weekend. If a show isn't episodic, I cannot stand waiting for weekly episodes. |

Yeah man, this show is even better this season. And it's like "Where the FUCK can it even go?". So many possibilities. I want Eli to be disposed of.

I feel like Jimmy may be the one to do it. He seems to have a particular dislike for him.

I agree, or maybe Luciano or Capone since they both fly of the rails.

ARGGGGGGGGGGH Sunday was AMAZING. Classic scene when Torio, Rothstein and Nucky were all together and they realized there was some fishy business afoot. Rothstein is one of the most understated, amazing characters on the show. Always has amazing pearls of wisdom.

Just caught up with the last three episodes. I always seem to somehow fall exactly three episodes behind.
Anyways, Nucky obviously has some devious plan in the works. Can't wait to see what it is. Also, I concur about Rothstein being an amazing character. |

Knowing what I know from researching the Mob in school, Van Alden and Capone are going to be intertwined. It showed in the last episode the Van Alden moved to Cicero, Illinois, which is where the headquarters were for Al Capone in real life.

I think that the show has officially peeked. I don't think it can be as good as it was this season. At the very least it'll need season three to build up to a huge season four crescendo. Killing off Jimmy while I'll say was the right move because it was logical as far as the characters and plot go, removes a key element from the show. One they may have to build back up over time.
Though Harrow could take over from Jimmy's role. It's hard to say at this point. |

HOLY SHIT.
Once again I fell exactly three episodes behind. Caught up and finished the season today. Honestly have no idea where this show goes without Jimmy. |

Explain logically how they could have kept him alive without it going against everything the show is about. As Gert said best, he was a dead man walking. If the writing had no balls they'd have kept him alive. But they went the route that epic drama goes, and they killed a main character. Don't let mancrushes get in the way of watching good television. I would imagine to make up for it, Richard Harrow is going to play a much bigger part, which can never be a bad thing.
