Yeah, damn good album. Valkyrie Missle and Do It For Me Now are the best songs. One of the tracks was real shitty quality-wise, tho.

I wouldn't say it's "shitty" quality, but it certainly is a lot softer than the other songs on the album.

Man, I can't play .rar files.
If someone can just upload the WaR or Valkyrie Missile on here that would be AWESOME. Edit: I managed to find an mp3 of Do It For Me Now Edit again: NEVERMIND, THANK YOU SO MUCH (i am now able to play .rar) Last edited by The Greater Power; 04-14-2006 at 12:09 PM. |

Listened through it a couple of times now. It is a bit boring like Fonzy said, but overall it's got a pretty nice sound.

Yeah, when I first listend to it The War and It Hurts stuck out to me as the best songs, but the more I listen to it the more they all sound equal as far as how good they are in my opinion.

I haven't read any recent interviews or anything of the like, but I remember Tom saying a while back how some of the CD is about the whole Blink breakup and all... if I had to guess I'd say that Start the Machine is about Blink breaking up and Tom saying how he feels about the band and all. I'm probably way off but if that's the case that's mad hot

"Dreams were the first sign.
The deepest blue; the clearest sky. The silence came with brightest eyes; Like turning water into wine. The children ran to see. Their parents stood, in dibelief. And those who knew braced for the ride. The Earth, itself, then came alive." I actually get goosebumps during when he sings that part. |

Yeah that verse is probably my favourite part of the entire CD. So moving.
The more I listen to Start the Machine, the more I love it too. I dunno if it's about Blink or not, but the song's basically about something that happened in the past and he's trying to leave it behind, type of thing. All the words kind of "fit", if you think about it, except the last part really... though I guess "Love's a word that you say, say it and I will listen" can work, if he really loved being in Blink and all. But all the verses and stuff, Quote:

I don't know probably wayyyy off but it's fun to speculate about things like this. Plus it gives a pretty deep meaning to teh song, which already sounds awesome enough on its own. |

Looks like the track order on the CD is going to be different than what we think.
http://www.7digital.com/stores/produ...031&tracker=21 Plus, there is a song called The Machine, which is basically a remix of "Start The Machine", and a live version of "Do It For Me Know" Sadly, I think this is only for UK ppl., not sure BTW, after watching the live video of Adventure, I came to realize that the verses severely PWNT the weak choruses |

Hmmmmm interesting... none of the "Preview" links are working on that page for me though. ><
The Machine sounds like it'll be awesome... Start the Machine is one of my fav songs from the CD so any type of mix or w/e of it is hawt. If that's the UK-only one I'm gonna have to import that ish. |
