Didn't realize RAW was going to be taped in advance this week in Mexico. They're taping RAW on Saturday.

Did they only use Beautiful People for the Raw after WM13?

Actually, I stand corrected. It was used in 97. I was thinking of when it was the SmackDown theme.

Yeah, it kinda shocked me. I've just started watching 97 from WM13 and it was on the Raw the day after WM13, but now it's the more traditional Raw theme from the Attitude era that I forget the name of.

It's slow as hell though, you'll be lucky to download an episode a day. Just watching the debut of the Truth Commision now. Didn't even realise they were supposed to be South African. |

Watching Judgment Day 98 right now. Chicago crowd in the Attitude Era. Currently popping like crazy during a D'Lo/X-Pac European title match.

Road Dogg just smashed a boombox on Mosh's head causing a DQ. JR clarifies to the viewers at home that this was not a JVC Kaboombox.

I'm watching WCW PPvs from 98 - 2000. Strikes me how far behind they were with music/video production.
Intro videos/music were so generic and their PPV intro videos were lame. Also, it's really difficult to keep up with what's happening without seeing the Nitros inbetween. Flair went from good guy President that returned to save WCW from nWo to being a heel fueding with Piper and bribing referees. Benoit went from Tagging with Malenko as part of the Horsemen to teaming with Saturn. DDP went from being a babyface World Champ to a member of the New Jersey Triad with seemingly no middleground. I'm a little confused. |

However, watch Souled Out '97 and the opening video to that. It was brilliant... Then they went back to their same old shit. The nWo promos were still awesome though. |

The set was fucking awesome too. And the ring announcer. Shame most of the matches sucked, bar the ladder match.

Love how even after his match with Warrior, JR is still saying "NO-ONE GETS UP FROM THE PEDIGREE".

I like the 'running commentary' behind these comics... but they're clearly trying to be funny about it... and I just don't find them funny.

Who was it that was trying to argue that those Botched Spot comics weren't trying to be funny?

Pretty sure someone a few pages back said these comics weren't funny (someone other than me) and someone else replied about how they're not always meant to be funny. Or something along those lines.
