Its time to pay the (roddy) Piper - WM30 humble pie
Here we are. No one took me up on my tshirt bet, but I think this Avatar is fair penance.
Its time for all of us naysayers to admit we were wrong. I never thought the WWE would do it. I wanted them to and thought it was the right booking but several months back I didnt think it would happen. Bryan is champ and the world is right. I still think this was NOT the plan until after the rumble debacle of Batista. But still, they did the right angle and I was wrong. Come out all you naysayers and accept defeat. Swiss and Heyman, and even Gertner, you were right. I was wrong. I may disappear into the desert now. |

Thought this thread was actually about ol' "HotRod" when I opened it. Think my brain's trying to tell me I feed it too much wrestling, because I guess as a result of just the passing mention by Michael Cole Monday of "the late, great Ultimate Warrior", sometime that night after falling asleep, I had this crazy-ass dream where first I had a premonition/bad feeling about something happening to Piper and then when I woke up from within that dream, like, I dunno a TV news report or something, "confirmed" his "death".
Never so glad not to have a dream/nightmare be true upon waking in my life. |
