NHL - Who wins the Western Conference, and in how many games?
With the Blackhawks winning tonight, it sets up a date with the San Jose Sharks for a chance to play for the greatest trophy in sports. Who wins it, how many games, and why?

I think the Sharks in 7 after an intense series with 2-3 OT games.

Interesting. I would have to say the Sharks in 5 maybe 6. The way they dismantled the Redwings and with the rest they are getting, I am not sure they can be stopped now.

True, but Nabokov is crazy and they will probably lose 8-0 in game 3 or something

I feel like the Hawks have too much for the Sharks

Really? I was thinking it was the other way around. If Jumbo Joe and Mini Joe keep producing, and if Danny H. ever started to snip goals the way he can, one would kind of go in the opposite direction and say the Sharks have to much.
On the other hand, the Sharks have been known to shut her down in the post season, so who knows. It should be a good series. |

I think Hawks in 6 based on how well the team is the last 2 years but the 1st game at San Jose will determine whole series. If Blackhawks get the win then they will be tough to beat but if Sharks win then any chance of them collapsing will be gone.
Similar to the NBA when Minnesota with Garnett finally got out of the 1st Round but fell apart in the Conference Finals. |

I'm going with the Sharks in 6 I feel that they have the experience factor on their side and has the deeper lineup which is why the Habs managed to beat both the Pens and Caps.

Sharks in 5. I really don't think Chicago is very good. Nashville should have beat them and the Canucks shit the bed.
