Show asked for some time off
From PWInsider:
The Big Show has asked WWE for some time off. He has wanted some for a while now to fully heal his injuries, but felt that leaving would run the Smackdown roster too thin. Now that he’s on RAW, he feels that the roster there can afford to give him some time off for a while. The Big Show is also said to be unhappy with the abrupt dropping of his planned program with Chris Masters. No reason has been given for dropping that angle. THE OPTIMISTS! Kudos to him for sucking it up while on Smackdown, and trying to do what's best for the company. If he needs time off, give it to him. Its not like he's doing anything important on RAW. Unless you count handicapp squash matches as important.

I know why they dropped the big show/Masters feud...
They woke up and realised that they can't push him strong and have him afraid of a lardass who will slap him around like a little girl. Something had to give, and it sure as fuck wouldn't be the push (Of the guy with no reaction). |

But seriously, his feud with masters was probably the biggest thing he's done in a while. If I went from a named wrestler to OVW/Local/C-Fed talent, I'd be a little annoyed too.

I havent read anything in this thread, but big show is in my top 3 wrestlers, he could do so much for the wwe, but he's so underused. It's pathetic. He can draw and we all know it, The wwwe just needs to swallow its pride and make him a monster.

I'm not trashing you for being a Big Show fan. I am, however, trashing the notion that the WWE just needs to swallow their pride. That's the main reason he has a job--Their pride. They luuuuuuuuuuuuurve the hosses, and you act like he just hasn't been given a chance to shine. Because title runs and main events just weren't big enough. |
