Elimination Chamber was still pretty good in my opinion. A naked oil wrestling tits match between Paige and Tamina would have made it better but easily the best PPV of 2015 so far.

Maybe it was a nod to the Jericho incident as a tribute to our recently departed King Tazz Dan? OK just a coincidence but nevertheless I'm sure he'd have been mentioning Jericho at this point.

Honestly, that was pretty much the best way they could end that match.

Overall I'd say this was a great PPV. Only weak spot really was the Divas match. Even Bo/Neville was a decent match with a story and the fans were involved with it.

Very much enjoyed this PPV.
-Tag Title Chamber was chaotic but fun, New Day are excellent so them winning works -Divas division has been aimless but their match tonight was inoffensive -Owens vs. Cena was fucking phenomenal and Owens going over clean is amazing. Yes, they're blowing their load by having a rematch in 2 weeks but there's no denying this match was the shit -Neville/Dallas was a blatant cooldown match but not bad at all -IC Title Chamber was pretty clunky and the pacing seemed really off at times, but it wasn't bad or anything. Ryback probably needed the win more than anybody else as the only guy in the chamber to not hold singles gold -Ambrose/Rollins is always a good match. I marked the fuck out for Ambrose pinning the champ clean even if it took about 30 seconds to realize it'd get overturned. Seems likely that either Ambrose or Reigns will turn at MITB so I'm very interested in seeing where that goes |

That could be a pretty hot angle. Make Roman a "tweener" in that he is a heel, but he is also at the same time Anti-Authority, just in it for himself.

Reigns seemed legit happy for Ambrose, even in the screwy finish.
I like seeing shit like this, like AJ and Big E when Dolph cashed in Money in the Bank. |

Kevin Owens tonight: Would not be surprised for him to be WWE Champion at least once by this time next year. |

If I could be serious for a minute, that was a pretty damn good show. Not once did I think I was wasting my time. All the matches were kind of sloppily thrown together, but my impatience in between PPVs curbed that right up. Tonight felt like a glimpse of things to come, the puzzle pieces are set. The John Cena/ Owens fight should have went on later in the show, but it was placed just right after finishing the whole PPV. My sons took in the show at the beginning with the Tag Chamber match and they popped for the spots. They had to go do shit after that, but they enjoyed what they saw. They were already pooped out cause I had them watch Summerslam 2003(just the Chamber match) and one episode of Attitude Era RAW. Pretty damn good card they had tonight. The crowd sucked shit, but that's alright |

Looks less bad in gif form. Thought at first Paige landed solely on her head or neck when it happened live. |

I understand they were trying to do something different... but there's a reason a backwards hurricanrana isn't a thing.

I kinda feel the low point of the PPV was the IC title chamber match. The whole thing just felt off to me.

As you might be able to tell, I just finished watching Elimination Chamber. It was definitely better than I expected.
Anytime Kalisto tried climbing something was just awkward. I unfortunately had the result of Owens/Cena spoiled for me by the WWE app. It was still an amazing match. I was totally shocked by Ambrose "winning", and I look forward to seeing where this goes. I still have no idea why Neville & Bo weren't in the IC chamber match. |

I was pretty shocked. Thought it would be Rusev with Ziggler or Sheamus as the backup. I don't know if I should get too excited though. Not just because I don't have faith in WWE to stick to a push for him but also because the IC title is an instant ticket to jobbing more than you did before.

I really enjoyed that "live special." The Tag Team Title match made everyone look good. There was a bit of awkwardness with Kalisto and the "waiting for a guy to do stuff" vibe, but the dude is a gamer. Cesaro is a fucking freak. I haven't enjoyed The Prime Time Players as much as I did tonight. Darren Young worked hard and Titus came off like a beast when pissed. I can deal with them being immediate challengers to The New Day, although I'd rather issues develop between them and Cesaro & Kidd, only for their party to be crashed by Harper & Rowan -- Four-Way for Money in the Bank. Sin Cara also impressed me, The Ascension looked better than they ever had, and even Los Matadores had some fire.
Tag team wrestling matters to me after that. The Divas match was kind of botched. I get what they are trying to do, but everyone basically has these forced characters shoved out there, and the raw emotion that the NXT girls have isn't there. Paige and Naomi probably should have just had a grudge match with Nikki watching on. This was spot, spot, spot and a lot of them looked like they hurt. Cena and Owens tore it the fuck down. I haven't been too into Owens, but the man is fucking great. His promo work since he's started working with Cena has been harrowing. The man is a perfect foil for him. His clean win also imprints him on people's brains. He has what King Barrett lacks -- you believe him as a threat. Are they rushing the rematch? Hmm. It feels right. I do think it should be for the US Title now, but I think Owens will use that psychological edge on Cena in coming weeks. I'd be fine with both guys in Money in the Bank too. But it's happening, and I'm not going to whinge. Bo Dallas and Neville actually impressed me. For his age, Bo gets a lot of things that a lot of performers never get. The psychology here was great, and this was never meant to steal the show. I want to see Bo in a feud he can win. The IC Chamber was...I'm sorry, but it was boring. A lot of the guys that were in it being in it didn't make sense, and I don't know how I am meant to invest in R-Truth and Barrett. They win, they lose, they win, they lose. Why should I really care? Both are good performers, but Barrett should be above the IC Title at this point, and Truth has never really made a good stake to the title. Dolph Ziggler did what Dolph Ziggler does, but we've seen it so much that it's just his job to get beat down sometimes. He's also a guy that has won the IC Title so much that I don't care when he does it anymore. Sheamus is a great performer, but he feels above the title on so many levels, but an ill-fit anywhere else. He's almost like the Dudley Boyz were to me, in that he just hovers about. Henry became great, but he's almost a weird sort of credible novelty act at this point. Ryback winning was actually touching, and I want to get behind him as champ. At least he can say he won a Chamber now. I want to see him give open challenges and eventually move into a feud with Kevin Owens and/or John Cena. Curtis Axel should answer the first one. I also think that Ryback vs. Mark Henry, with Ryback beating Henry to remove the WrestleMania XXIX-sized chip on his shoulder would be a good story. The main event was a fun match. I wasn't into it for some reason (I haven't really been watching), but I find Ambrose magnetic. Seth is so good at what he does, but he still seems like he should be the IC Champion or something. Everyone seems...on par when around him. I dunno. He doesn't feel like *the* guy, as stand-out as he is. But he and Ambrose tore it down, and the ending, even though you knew it was a false finish, made me mark out. A great way to keep the Ambrose express going, and he's hitting balls out of the park, so why let it stop? I like the "crazy face has the heel's championship" storyline anyway. Look for him to bribe Rollins into another match -- possibly a Ladder Match -- since MITB often has two of them. As fucking superb as Lesnar is at being a beast, I kind of think his looming shadow keeps things annoyingly locked down. If there were no Lesnar, you'd have no clue where any of this was going, yet it has this weird stench of "place-warmer." Still, I hope Ambrose segues himself into a permanent main event role out of this. I'm still hoping for Triple H vs. Ambrose at SummerSlam. |

I found the Money in the Bank Ladder Match reveal awkward as hell. It's like a whole bunch of guys were thrown together for no real good reason. Kofi Kingston is in there. Good for Kofi, but why? Isn't he meant to be a Tag Team Champion? What is his goal there? I know New Day have been entertaining as fuck since the heel turn, but...what?
