3 Doors Down
I always thought they were a good band.
Didn't know they had a new album until today. Downloading it now. |

You mean Kryptonite, Wadding?
I liked the first one a bit, the second was better, the third grew on me. This one, the new one, I don't know. It may grow on me, but so far, I'm not huge on it. |

Also, Wadding's a giant fag who doesn't like any music that isn't preapproved by pitchfork. Oh...Wait.

"Here Without You" Was the second Eddie Tribute song. It's not one of my favorites, but it's decent.

The first album was the dogs bollocks. No matter how shit they become, that album alone will make me buy everything they ever put out.

They were the first band I ever saw in concert in my freshman year of High School. Was pretty good, tbh.

I like Three Doors Down, they're a good lighter rock band.
They just shouldn't have released 'Kryptonite' off the bat. One-hit wondered them... |

Aren't you forgetting When I'm Gone? Loser? The Road I'm On? They had more then 1.

They're known for 'Kryptonite'. Not for those.
Those were better songs. They should have been giving me play and air time. But they were no 'Kryptonite'. Everyone remembers and knows them for 'that Superman song'. Not those ones. |

Funny, since all those songs sold amazingly well....Doesn't that 1. Defy the "one hit wonder" monicker, when at least two of their singles have gone multiplatinum since; 2. Demonstrate people aren't solely associating them with Kryptonite?

huge fan of them. every song that comes out I like. My favorite song is probably Be Like That.
And what, no way they are a One Hit Wonder. One Hit Wonders don't last like 10 years. Kryptonite made them famous, but they've had so much success after that |

If 3DD are one hit wonders, doesn't that make Nirvana a one hit wonder? Hear me out, because I'm not just bashing Nirvana here: First off, everyone knows e Doors Down for Kryptonite, and everyone knows Nirvana for More than a Fe....Smells Like Teen Spirit. Sure, people know other songs by Nirvana, but most people know other 3DD songs, too. More importantly, Nirvana was one of the most commercially successful acts of the 90s. In the amount of time 3DD has been active, they had like fifteen certifications for sales (Gold and Platinum). 3DD has over 20. Granted, they have a few more golds comparably, but they are a hot, commercially successful band at a point where record sales are on decline. Clearly, Nirvana's a one hit wonder if 3DD is. |

Anyway, I don't get the connection to 3DD. They don't suck, their frontman looks like Luke Skywalker instead of Jesus, and they know more than three chords. |
