I got to a point where I was doing some side op and it popped up a secondary "perimeter area" where it was asking me to bag a "legendary" brown bear, but I was like nah, "f" that, since I'd already fultoned one.

Without saying too much, Mission 11 was really interesting, and quite challenging too.

Mission 11 is one I found really easy. DD takes a fair bit of the challenge out of it.

New save file corrupting bug was recently discovered for the PS4 version although only affects those who have multiple profiles on their PS4 and use them to play the game.

No real quick fix besides to stick to just one profile for playing until a patch arrives.

Well I can finally try this, as it's the free game on the 360 this month, If I like it and I'm sure I will, I'll pick up Phantom Pain.

Find it hard to believe when I looked back in hindsight that I haven't played a MG game since Snake Eater. I had the HD Collection at one point but my ex wife sold it off before getting to Peace Walker and I never had a ps3.

I even have Revengeance still sitting here in my room, unopened that I managed to snag off Amazon for 7 dollars.

Currently playing Ground Zeroes since its free for the Games With Gold thing but have a small question.

If I play a cassette tape, can guards nearby hear it as well? I've gotten a random alert or two to happen and wonder if that is why.

If yes, does the same happen in Phantom Pain as well?

Enemies should only hear it if you have the speakers on, might want to check to see if they are.

It can be pretty useful though. I've hidden inside toilets and played the tape where one of the afghan soldiers had the shit, the rest of them tend to stay away.

For those dealing with pesky invaders stealing stuff from their FOBs, Konami recently added a new the ability to purchase "insurance" for bases.

MG Online mode was launch today and like almost everything else at launch, was plagued with issues. PS4 and PS3 versions alone had server issues due to Sony not updating PSN in time to handle the new mode. All versions seem to also suffer with graphical issues making it unplayable at times.

Downloaded the update and now my game won't load. Game starts up and gets to the 'this game uses auto save' message and then it's just a black screen

You unlock the Sniper Wolf suit for Quiet in game as it is, along with the XOF suit. If you actually want to play as Quiet then it's limited to the PC platform for now as a mod.

For those that have had problems playing the Metal Gear Online mode, Konami recently offered free in-game gifts as their apology.

According to recent data mining by hackers, the amount of missions missing or cut from the game currently totals between 27-37 missions. Some were meant more as demos while others have complete assets but were removed as playable levels.

Just finished Chapter One, not sure how I feel about the ending....Mission 31 was pretty straight forward compared to some of the others that I really struggled with. Also I somehow managed to get an S ranking on it, my first one so far.

Recent patch by Konami tweaked the microtransaction system to be a bit more heavier than before. New items almost impossible to develop without buying a new base while defending bases gets a bit more harder without spending real money.

Base invasion-wise, new patch is more pro-defense than before assuming you get those new items.

Also lessened the amount of resources that can be gained from fultoning certain items in missions.

Now possible to get Quiet back to your base if you do the mission(s) that cause her demise. Requires replaying Mission 11 seven times to trigger the event. No new cutscene though so the only real way to know is if the mission text changes.

I'm totally loving this game. It was defiantely a welcome change to the series. Don't get me wrong, the original games didn't need to change, but they did it anyways and executed it brilliantly
