::SISSY MUSIC:: song suggestions for my car stereo
[/over-demanding prick]
k so I'm not all kvlt metal and shit, so I need help from you emo kids so I have myself a mp3 disc of the softer persuassion. Note i'm joking, ska, punk, emo, alt-rock and crap, they're not all sissy music, so don't go flipping out on me and shit. Bands I like (and don't need suggestions for): Thrice, Thursday, All American Rejects, Green Day, RX Bandits, Aquabats, Box Car Racer, Jimmy Eat World, The Mars Volta, Placebo, Finch, Glassjaw, and The Used. I also need more songs for these bands, cause I think I'm lacking.. limit it to 10 songs plz: A FIRE INSIDE Crop Tub Days Of The Phoenix God Called In Sick Today He Who Laughs Last Last Caress Perfect Fit Porphyria The Last Kiss Third Season Totalimmortal OZMA Domino Effect Flight Of The Booty Master Korobeiniki Spending Time Turtleneck Cover Up NERF HERDER 5000 Ways To Die Pantera Fans In Love Welcome To My World RENTALS Friends Of P Waiting REGGIE AND THE FULL EFFECT Apocalypse WOW! (I felt gay typing that) Congratulations Smack & Katy Dwarf Invasion Raining Blood And then uhhh.. I have hardly ANY songs for My Chemical Romance and Coheed and Cambria, and my friends play them so much that they've grown on me. No sense in borrowing their CDs and ripping them because they're hella lazy, so I will just DL songs. thanks in advannnnnnnnnnce |

Hmm, I'm pretty limited on this sort of stuff, but anyway...
Rival Schools - anything off their United By Fate CD... but some standout tracks are: Travel By Telephone Good Things Used For Glue Holding Sand Undercovers On Far - again, pretty much anything off their CD Water and Solutions. Standout tracks again... Bury White Mother Mary The System Wear It So Well Water and Solutions New End Original - same singer as Far, but slightly different. Only got one album, called "Thriller". Again, tracks... 14-41 Halo Hostage Lukewarm Titanic Basically anytime I've recommended these 3 before, I've been completely ignored, so feel free to do the same. |

Where you do think the band stole the name from?
Originally they were going to use the whole name, but they feared a law suit and shifted the United By Fate part to be their album title... |

I'll try those other bands, but yeah I don't like Taking Back Sunday and Brand New. I have to listen to them every once in a while anyway, considering a handful of my friends like them. They'll probably wanna put the CDs in my player, and I'm a pushover.

Might as well throw in a British and European band while I'm at it, who both veer towards the harder side of "sissy".
First up, Hell Is For Heroes. Again, pretty much anything off their album "The Neon Handshake", if you can find it. Tracks... Night Vision I Can Climb Mountains You Drove Me To It Disconnector Retreat Next up, there's Mínus (probably better to search for "Minus" though), who hail from Iceland. Their album "Halldor Laxness" is pretty good for a band who played heavy as hell hardcore before they had a stylistic change. Tracks... Boys of Winter Who's Hobo Angel In Disguise The Long Face The Ravers Insomniac |
