I still think the hype to Sting v Triple H and WM 31 has generally been below par from what we've been used to in the past.

I was adamant Sting v Triple H would have been factored into a storyline where if Sting wins Triple H and the Authourity are finished, as assumed from the "I'm here to take Triple H down" comments. But it seems either that may happen immediately afterwards on Raw as someone suggested in another thread e.g.Vince comes out and says Triple H has lost one big match too many against anti-authourity figures and it's time to step aside, he then names Sting as the new GM.

Or Sting defeating Triple H is essentially the "beginning of the end" culminating in maybe Bryan, Cena or my preference Ziggler taking on Triple H and ending it once and for all.

I don't know about you guys but I'd have loved a segment even backstage with Hogan and Sting crossing paths.

God, Sting was great before Stephanie walked out. Why didn't they give him the mic earlier.

Lol at the tug of war. Who thought that was a good idea?

Heyman says Brock loves being champion almost as much as he liked beating peoples ass that try to take it from him and then Reigns just takes it and nothing.

Wow that ending was hilarious, made even more so by that gif of them playing tug of war.

I can understand them not wanting to spoil anything with Lesnar and Reigns brawling, but I figured a super-intense staredown was coming. Reigns handing Lesnar the belt and saying "see you at Wrestlemania" or something.

That tug of war was ricockulous.

Sting on the other hand. Damnnnnnn. He only spoke for about a minute but the energy was incredible.

I really hope he can pull off a good match with Triple H. I really, really don't want this to go the way of guys like Goldberg, Steiner etc, where we're excited as fuck to see Sting in the WWE, only for it to fizzle out and receive "boring" chants.

Doubt anyone would chant "boring" in Sting's match. There will be to much respect for Sting for something like that to happen.

To be fair, Bret/Vince were two people who could barely perform at that point, namely Bret and the match was very slowly paced.

Sting v HHH should still be a decent show, despite the age of both.

I'm not buying this notion that Sting can't wrestle a good match anymore. Yes, he's 56 years old. But he hasn't wrestled in 14 months and has probably realistically known he was going to wrestle at WrestleMania 31 for at least a year. He'll be motivated to put on a good performance in front of 70,000 people, especially if it ends up being his one and only match for the company.

Bret/Vince isn't a great example. Those two were never going wrestle a real match. Vince was like 65 and Bret hasn't wrestled in years because of his concussion issues. He was long done fighting. Goldberg/Lesnar is I think where you want to go for a dream match that sucked balls.

Just watched this last night.

Sting definitely was the moment of the night and actually has me wanting to see his match at Mania. He looks to be in better shape than he was in TNA as well.

Bray was as great as ever on the mic. He has done well doing a build by himself. Very interested to see where they go with this one.

Since it was learned last night that Lesnar has re-signed with WWE and is done with UFC, that adds a lot of personal intrigue for me for the main event.

I am going to get the network, just for one month, to see Mania. Even if it sucks, it is at least worth..........

I'm not in any way doubting Sting can still go, I just really hope the match doesn't, for whatever reason, kill the crowd. Huge, huge Sting mark (who isn't?) and don't want to see this get shat all over.
