Gif Problem
I don't know why, but when I try to safe a gif I come across, I can't seem to save it as a .gif file anymore.
Instead, I only get the choice of saving it as a .png file or a .bmp file. Does anyone know why this is happening and/or how I can go back to saving .gif files again? |

Should be able to over ride it by including .gif extension into the file's name or after its saved rename the extension to a .gif although that might not work all the time.

I've tried both and they don't seem to work.
Thanks though. |

Sounds like a virus dude. Look into this app to fix it: http://home.mcafee.com/store/total-protection A little pricy but well worth it.

IE/Firefox/Chrome? DETIALS.
Found this: "Windows XP Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Can't save .Gif or Jpeg files when right clicked. This apparently happens when your IE Temporary Internet Files cache becomes stuffed. In IE, go to Tools >> Internet Options and on the "General" tab click the button marked "Delete Files" under the heading "Temporary Internet Files". " |
