Margot Robbie in a bra? Color me sold.
But in all seriousness, them showing MULTIPLE Batman snips makes me feel like they think he's a big draw. Which he is. But I'd rather they try and make us forget he's in it and surprise us later. |

Aw man... this just looks so boring and uninteresting.
I'll go see it anyway, since I see all comic book movies in the cinema, but this just doesn't really interest me. |

Come on, it's DC. Batman probably has more screen-time than the Suicide Squad themselves.

Looks pretty cool. Really want to see more of this Batman so I don't care if he has a lot of scene time.

Wouldn't surprise me if whatever trailers they release from here on out have more and more Batman shots but he's only in the movie for 15 minutes. |

Batman is a little different. Just kind of hated it how Wonder Women made her big screen debut in a trailer. Should have been a surprise and would have made it a lot better. I mean Batman being in the trailers doesn't really ruin anything that could have been special unless they show a trailer with him and Joker meeting or something like that.

Dunno.... feel like Batman was "barely" in the trailer, and so quick that people might not even know it is him, so really nothing lost....

I've seen Wolf on Wall Street. So yes. I know there's more. I still find her wildly attractive. So maybe the Harley Quinn thing you mentioned is true.

Director David Ayer coming out and saying rumors of the reshoots being to add humor are silly. Stated was to add/enhance the action/set pieces.

With every week there seems to be something new coming out basically promoting Jared Leto as the Joker. How he supposedly sent used condoms to cast members as presents, or how the "world stopped and stood in awe" at his performance... with all this news going around now of reshoots being done to "make the film less gritty" or whatever, and apparently now Suicide Squad 2 will be R-Rated, surprise surprise, jeez I wish this film would hurry up and come out so Leto's Joker can basically fail to live up to the hype. Can't help but feel that it's nothing but Heath Ledger Joker #2.

Without a doubt "they" seem to be going out of their way to promote Leto's Joker.
I remember we didnt see or hear much of anything about Ledger's Joker, which made it all the more amazing when we finally DID and he knocked it out of the park. |

I think Leto will do great. I dig the look and haven't really seen anything other than the trailers. Don't think he'll be Ledger like either. May have a few nuisances from him because he did such a great job but with this characters look I feel he'll be more psychotic and wild.

Yeah nothing about him screams Ledger. I think Leto is more than talented enough to do a great job. But, much like Affleck, I'm worried that it'll be a strong performance of muddled character direction and writing.
At least we know the director is capable of greatness, such as Training Day and Fury. |

this movie might be incredible. I think The Dark Knight is the best comic book movie of all time. This one has a chance.

Watched the clip of Joker and Harley in the lambo with Batman pursuing. And it felt bad. Like, Joker and Harley seemed so hammy. It is just a clip out of context. But still.
I did like the clip introducing Katana. |

Only thing i didnt like about that clip was Harley's hair. But i probably could use some more context to it.

Not surprised at this point. It's almost DC's thing now. Make much anticipated, severely hyped films only to produce a mediocre at best effort. Oh Well. Maybe Wonder Woman will be good.

I will see it this weekend. By my own rules I really shouldn't but I want to hope that snyder was thw issue with BvS and that its better than it looks...i very well might abandon ship on DC theater viewings if this is poor. May go to dvd until they earn some trust.

They can't keep relying on the same guy. Feels like we're not really going to get anything good until after Wonder Woman, as that film was the last I'm production before the massive shift in roles happened following BvS.

According to a report from Hollywood Reporter, this film ended up being plagued with issues from the start.
Warner Bros only gave them about 6 weeks to write a script. The director only got picked because other bigger name directors either refused or were already busy on other projects. Only reason reshoots happened was due to the boss of Warner Bros being pissed at Batman vs Superman "damaging" their DC film brand. In regards to comedy in the film, Warner Bros wanted more added in while the director and actors didn't. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/sui.../1100-6442334/ |
